1 liter or 1 quart
I like this size when I brew my own adult beverages. Eight of them are equal to the full sized two gallon batch, or you only need 4 for the gallon batch. I like to have about a quart when I have a drink. A pint isn't bad, but sometimes I like to sit down for a moment, not get up right away. These quart sized bottles are also great on bottling day, because you only have to do it 4 or 8 times, depending on your batch size. The brown/amber bottle is UV protecting your brew. For me, that's mostly beer, though it's nice for cider, soda, & hard soda. I don't know how it'll do for sparkling wine, I'd believe it to be just the same, but I don't make that. The lid size is fine & you can print out a bunch of 1" content circles, if you want. Date dot & color dot circles fit on these lids as well. I included a picture with specs for you of the blank lids. I have been using this size PET bottles for quite some time brewing. They wash out easily, & hold up to the pressure of carbonizing with drops or sugar. THEY DO NOT take heat at all. Tepid water wash these or they'll shrivel up & ruin. I don't see where anyone has a problem with the thickness of these. They are actually thicker than a soda bottle. You want to be able to feel the pressure to know that your home brew is carbonized properly. Some soda mixes only need a day or two. You can't squeeze test glass. I am glad that BrewDemon still makes 1 liter/quart sized bottles & boxes them in a heavy box. The box makes it easier to hold them after bottling, & it sure makes it easier to pop in the fridge for "lagering" or conditioning. The box makes it easy to bottle your brew, as it's all in one convenient space, with handles. Though spillage, isn't the friend of paper boxes.

Nice!
Selling point is being able to carbonate beverages in the bottle! They are as described and pretty sturdy not super sturdy. Homemade root beer .

Easier to bottle with these
I like these better than the pack of 15 smaller bottles because it makes bottling day easier. And really--who drinks just one .75 L bottle anyway... These are one liter. Perfect. When it's time to re-use them, just re-use the caps OR use a wire cutter to snip off that annoying band from the "locking cap" thing and use new caps.

Just like the originals!
These bottles are the exact same as the ones that you get in the brew demon kits. They make it easy to make multiple batches at a time while ensure the product is consistent. We will buy these again.

Nice bottles
I have to say that I prefer these over my 12 oz brown glass bottles. I wish I had bought these a couple years ago. They are much easier to fill, and are easy to clean. I'll be getting another box of these soon.

Good bottles, nice box
Also purchased these for storing photo chemicals. It's very hard to find brown glass or plastic bottles in 1-liter size. These seem very well made and I would feel confident also using them for homebrew beer. One thing to be aware of, the caps are the locking type, similar to commercial beverage bottles. When you remove the cap, a plastic ring is left on the neck of the bottle. If you don't want that, you should remove the locking ring from the cap before screwing it on. Otherwise, the caps seem sturdy enough for re-use.

Best bottles for Homebrews
These bottles have shown their usefulness in my homebrewing. The sturdiness and convenience is tremendous. I can tell by feel if carbonation is taking place during the conditioning process.
