One Backpack Waist Belt Backpack Waist Strap Universal Fit with Buckle - Black

I recently bought a backpack. It is great except that it was missing a waist belt. I don't know why but most backpacks to carry laptops are either optimised for hiking or do not have a waist belt. Being that laptops are heavy, I think it is an important feature to include. At the end I opted to buy one without a waist belt and add it myself. And this was the only good option I found. The buckle is wide which adds to comfort and weight relief of the back. My backpack didn't have a place to add one so I sewed it to the end of the shoulder straps with a nylon thread. The result is great, it doesn't move and I finally can use my otherwise perfect backpack with some weight relief of my shoulders.

Dislikes: * I guess my only dislike of this is that the webbing could be provided in one piece with detailed instructions as to how to put together Waist straps and be able to save the excess webbing for another project. Yes I'd buy these straps again. I'm very happy that they are not so bulky that I can have them on my Packable backpack and still pack it back into its case. I purchase this with hopes that it would shift the weight of a ski boot bag off of my shoulders and on to my hips. It does do that; however, since it attaches to the shoulder straps it pulls on them. I have a dislocated shoulder so I'm super sensitive to the weight. As a result, this didn't work for what I needed. If all you need is to pull the bag in and help distribute the weight, it should work for you. I gave it a 4 since it does what it is supposed to do.

Literally the only option on Amazon that does what it does. It works well. I would have preferred an option to change the way it attaches to the pack to expand the options, but I bought a pack that works well with how thia works and it's perfect.

This is fine for the purpose. It connects easily and cinches down securely to the backpack straps. But the buckle is cheap and flimsy. It broke easily from just tightening it after using it a couple of times this deer season. Beef up the buckle, and it's perfect.

I'm larger than the wasit straps on the Osprey Farpoint $40 can accommodate. I contacted Osprey and they actually said they would custom make a larger waist strap and ship it to me all for free. AWESOME!!. Problem is that it's a custom job and the straps won't arrive for 5-7 weeks. That is after my planned trip and I needed something sooner. The straps fit perfectly, and accommodated my rotund stomach with straps to spare.

Exactly as described and the product seems durable. Nothing to fail on it except the plastic hardware and that seems normal quality. I am using as is now to see how it works, but am thinking about sewing the strap onto the pack for a better attachment and more stability. However, I will wait until I have used it a bit to decide on this. All in all an excellent value

I really want to like these, but I keep having to tighten them down on my backpack to get them to stay because they constantly loosen. Therefore, I don’t get the true benefits of having a waist strap. This is a great concept, but I think the design could be a little better to accommodate more bag styles.

I purchased it to replace the waist trap on my QT&QY tactical backpack, it fits perfectly in the triglide buckle! I see some comments about it being quite slipery, I can see why someone would say that, thats how I lost the original one, it will do the job, It's a bit ovepriced for my taste but that was to only option in town lolll! quality his of material his good but the end of the belts dont have an ended tip so you really have to be careful or the strap will simply fall.

While the buckle is easy to use and the design is simple, the strap isn't long enough for a good, comfortable fit. I found it tight around my waist, even when adjusted fully. Additionally, the material doesn’t seem very durable upon first inspection. It feels flimsy and doesn't inspire much confidence for long-term use, especially under the strain of carrying a loaded backpack. Overall, it’s a functional waist belt for lighter loads but may not hold up well for heavier or longer usage. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for durability or a secure, comfortable fit.
