Perfect for a flawless manicure!
This is exactly what I was looking for! This pen with extra tip works magic on those little mistakes where nailpolish ends up where you don't want it. It's easy to use in either hand and wipes away the polish quickly and easily. Great for cleaning up around the nail to give you that professional looking manicure.

great for removing excess polish
I'm really messy when I do my nails and this little pen comes in handy when doing that final phase of getting off all the polish you got on your skin! It's so easy to use and works the first time! It comes in very handy and I don't know why I didn't know about this little tool sooner in life!

So far so good
This works really well if you are a DYI Mani/ Pedi person; without the most steady hand. I've only used it 2x, and it worked well; but the 2nd time I used a very dark polish; so not so sure it will work as well on number 3. It will likey smear some of the staining a bit, but we see..The top wears down a bit also; but may be why they give the extra top. I'll keep one for light, and the other for dark colors; and see how long it lasts..I don't know if they sell more replacement tops, or how long the pen will last yet.

I only wish I knew about this sooner
I'm a lefty with sub-par hand-eye coordination. When I paint my nails, my right hand usually looks okay... but then the left looks like a six-year-old did it. In the past, I've used nail polish remover wipes or nail polish remover drenched q-tips to clean up the excess. That went decently enough sometimes but also went catastrophically wrong too. Like qtip fuzz getting stuck on my nail or accidentally wiping off too much and having to start a whole nail over. This pen is an absolute game changer though. With the firm tip and its one flat edge, I can very precisely target the overflow of polish without taking out the good stuff. It does take a bit of oomph to get the polish off but I find that to be true of practically any nail polish remover, so I'm fine with that.I used this for the first time a little over a week ago and just used it for a second time . When I left it last time, almost the entire tip was coated in literal Barbie pink, so I was expecting to have to change the tip when I took it down today. In the intervening days, though, it seems to have completely broken down what was left on it, so I was able to use the same tip for two nail polish applications now. Eventually I'll find out if I need to break the spare out for the third use or if I can keep getting away with reusing the first one... But I figured two uses is good enough to base a review on for now.So, keeping in mind that this is specifically meant for cleaning up the mistakes and not full-on removing an entire nail polish job, I found this was a pretty incredible deal at $8.28.

Great Idea but Could Be Better
It's nice and it's a great idea--definitely something useful for a "girly girl" to do her own nails. When polish gets outside the lines, onto cuticles and skin, it'll come off with time, but this pen enables you to work it off sooner. This is especially handy if you have somewhere to be, like a date or wedding, and can't just wait for the excess polish to come off on its own. The thing is the tip doesn't necessarily get saturated with polish remover, so you have to work at it a bit, rubbing the spots and streaks and periodically wiping the tip off on something like a paper towel, tissue or piece of paper.Fortunately, being at the top of their game, OPI has thought to make this pen refillable and even include an extra tip. I haven't refilled mine yet, so I cannot say whether or not the process will be easy. Sounds so from the instructions, but the jury's still out on that. The price is certainly right, so it's a good idea to have one or two, plus they make good stocking stuffers. All in all, it's a great idea, certainly better than waiting for polish to work itself off and way more accurate than a cotton swap dipped in remover, but it does take some work. Would be nice if the tip were made of something that could get more saturated to remove polish better--without dripping, of course.

MUST HAVE for perfect clean up!
Trying to use a qtip dipped in remover was not doing a great job for me, so I pounced on this product when I found it. It comes with an extra tip and can be refilled. It seemed a little dry when I got it, so following directions on the box, I added remover (you can use any brand) using an eye dropper. I added too much though--if I aim it tip down to clean my nails, it leaks. I consider that MY fault and not the fault of the product. So for now I look a bit funny cleaning up.This works like a charm! The tip stays hard enough to give a little scrub action for darker polish on your skin/cuticles. It takes me a fraction of the time to clean up now than with a qtip with MUCH better results. I am extremely happy with this product!

Great nail polish tool
For the novice person doing their own nails, this pen is the perfect tool to remove nail polish from the cuticle and from places it should not be on your fingers. You can refill it with your own nail polish remover which is nice since nail polish remover evaporates quickly. The extra tip helps also, The tips are like hard cotton orange sticks. They soak up the nail polish remover and work their magic. When one tip becomes miss-shaped you can easily replace the tip with a new one. My only negative is that you cannot purchase extra tips after you use the original two. You have to purchase a new pen. That way the company doesn't go out of business and they continue to receive your purchase money.
