A Must-Read for Financial Freedom
The Great Rat Race Escape by MJ DeMarco is a game-changing book that challenges the traditional path to success. If you’ve read his previous works, you know he doesn’t hold back and this one is no different. DeMarco offers powerful, actionable advice on breaking free from the 9-to-5 grind and achieving true financial freedom. If you haven’t yet read The Millionaire Fastlane, it’s also a must-read and complements The Great Rat Race Escape perfectly. Both books will shift your mindset and open your eyes to a new, empowering way to build wealth. Highly recommend!

MJ's Best Work
Someone on the Fastlane Forum said that the picture on this book reminded them of the 4 Hour Workweek. This book is not even in the same league of the 4 HW. That book is total garbage, this book is a total classic. I bought TGRRE when it came out and went through all 434 pages within 5 days of reading. My copy of the 4 HW is sitting in my bathroom, half way finished, because I just got so fed up with it (I bought it 2 months ago). Few years before this book was released, MJ DeMarco already hinted that his next book was going to be following the path of entrepreneurs who will become Unscripted and make a Fastlane business. When I first heard this, I questioned how good the execution would be. MJ has exceeded my expectations, as he spent 4 years writing this masterpiece. His dedication and effort shows. I already bought all 3 of MJ's books before (Millionaire Fastlane, Unscripted, and Wealth Exposed). I have used those books and applied the concepts to my own Fastlane Business. Those books are the basics, I would highly recommend reading those before this one. The reason is because he expands those concepts in this new book and introduces some new ones. He does a great job and I think that TGRRE is his best book. However, definitely still get his other books. The other books still does a better job explaining things in some areas than TGRRE (the paycheck pot in the last chapter of Unscripted).

a little dirty book
The book has stains and its aspect seems as was exposed to dust, instead of being stored in a good place or being protected.

Half story half words of wisdom
Dope story. It’s difficult writing an interesting yet relevant and fundamentally sound business book. Props to MJ for all 3 of his books and I would say first entrepreneurship texts I recommend to anyone.

MUST READ! Inspiring and well thought, just a small disclaimer...
Overall, this is a good as MJ's first book, the Millionaire Fastlane. Having said that, a small disclaimer: some of the concepts are indeed a repeat from his previous books. And honestly, that's ok - because time has passed but the concepts stay the same, they just evolve with time. The book is structured with a fiction element (there is a back story that helps sustain the concepts), but I especially admired the building strategies that get to the point. That actionable element was certainly missing in the previous books, as MJ just cuts to the chase and shares what other business books won't even mention. It's a must-read for anyone who has a calling for a life out of the ordinary, for those who refuse to be players but need to be masters of their own destiny. If you aim to create a business, a system, and a way of life, and not be a part of one, this is for you.

I was a bit apprehensive about this book given that some reviews said it was just repeating the same information as his other two books since The Millionaire Fastlane ranks as one of the best business books I've ever read. While many of the same ideas are in this book too, it was woven into the story really well and grounded the concepts in a relatable way. There were also a heap of new ideas in this book not in the others which make it stand on its own too. As I progressed through the book, I was reminded of how excited I was when I first read the Millionaire Fastlane as I'd be telling my wife about all these idea's that MJ's writing about his new book and how to apply it to our life/business. I listened to audiobook and it's great hearing MJ's voice narrate his principles and strategies.

Well, I must say that I'm a big fan of MJ DeMarco writing. This is probably one of the very few contents you will ever encounter telling the real truths about entrepreneuship and the best paths to succed at it. Said that, I just finished reading his new book "The Great Rat-Race Escape". This is a new take on the principles he started to develop since "The Millionaraire Fastlane". The most recent book talks about entrepreneuship in a more didatic way telling a story about a young couple across discovering the fastlane journey. I confess though I'm not a big fan of fictional stories in general nor have patience to read much of them. So from some point I just skipped the chapters with the story right to the business content. It works just as fine if you are like me. MJ does a brillant job at recovering all the principles already told in his previous books and adding more of them. Personally, the principles about "becoming a scientist" and using the scientific method were really eye-opening to be applied in my current venture. If there was some "secret" about being successful in business, it was all going to be summed up the way he does here. Besides that, I also see lots of value in this book to be gifted as an educative and solid entry to the entrepreneurship path - your spouse, friends and family will certainly benefit from it.

Libro fantastico, come gli altri di Mj Demarco. Comprato in inglese in quanto non ancora tradotto in italiano. Consigliato

If you've read his previous 2 books, read this one as well. Not only to turn your entrepreneurial jive back to to 11, but to have a more structural approach of unscripting your live and start an assymetrical earning system (a.k.a. a succesful business) and of course the occasional smirk. New readers even have no reason to not pick this one up. Its invaluable wisdom is told as a fictional story of Jeff and Samantha in a way that painfully mirrors most (unhappy) lives out there of the 9-to-5 employee (or rat). That pain though, will spur (most of you) into action (we still need rats). I'd recommend this over any other guru book about there. What are you still doing here, go read The Great Rat Race Escape and get your life back!
