I purchased these for proper sun shade fabric but ended up using them on tarps. I did have to use one to drill holes to make a template for punching holes in the tarp material but after that, it worked like a charm. These are holding up great.

I purchased 40 of these clips for my greenhouse shade cloth. I read the reviews and some people have a hard time installing them. I have Arthritis hands and had no trouble putting them on. There's a little trick on how exactly to put them on the fabric. Look at the clips. There are the cloth catcher teeth that go trough the cloth and the holes. Place the clip with the catcher teeth closest to the cord bend up on a flat surface, hook your fabric edge on to these now holding the clip PULL the top ( it has the holes closest to the cord bend) forward while you flip it. This forward pull lines the holes up with the teeth. No need to look if it lines up...it just does with that forward pull motion. Now push it down and you'll hear the snap. Basically push the back by the cord pull down first and the front will follow. I hope it's not too confusing as I described this. I had no trouble clipping them on.

These are a bit bigger than I gathered from the photos. Although they seem to hold tight, it took a bit to get them on to/thru the fabric. The little plastic prongs that hold the fabric in place broke off quite easily and it was difficult at time to get them aligned perfectly to avoid that. The good news is that once you got it locked in place, it held. I also like the big "loop" it forms once closed which allowed me to place a bit thicker cord through it. I gave it 4 stars because of the difficulty in placement and because I do not yet know how sturdy they will continue to be. Otherwise was one of the better items for the price at the time.

I love these clips. I was able to use them on a sun shade on my deck. I made a slide system with cable wire so I could open and close the shades. They hold up well to the sun and wind.

They snap on fabric really well but they DO NOT snap over grommets like the description states. I had to snap them on fabric next to the grommets. They are definitely sturdy and holds tight on fabric. I will see how they hold up once I put it outside and they go through a couple of really windy days here. Will update review in a few months.

Still holding my awning over pool in full stretch after 11 months. None have failed. I'm happy with product.

These are very cheaply made. The holes don't line up with the pointy pegs because pegs are very flimsy and bend. Total waste of money.

Helped secure the protection screen over my pool equipment.

I was wanting these to secure the privacy screen on the fence. They wouldn't stay closed, and the little teeth broke off. I couldn't use them
