Columbia Mens Bonehead Ls Shirt

Runs very large, I'm 5'10" 180lbs and even the medium is a little big, but fits well enough. Quality is great, I can see it lasting a long time, which I'd hope given the cost. I wear it in Florida summers and have no issues with overheating. Much better than those stretchy plastic fishing shirts.

Great shirt, wears well, lasts a long time, don't every stop selling these! Note: they do run large. My husband normally wears a large, in this shirt he wears a Medium and it fits perfects. We've found that with most of the Columbia men's line. Also, love the name of the shirt - "Bonehead" (?)

These are some of the best and most comfortable shirts I've ever worn. They fit well and offer generous movement because they tend to run a little more on the bigger size, which is exactly what I need. The style is great and if you love lots of pockets you will love this shirt. Pretty much wrinkle free after you wear it for a while unlike cotton. Wore several of these on an African safari and they worked great - comfortable and wear very well.

SIZING: The shirt does run a little big, so keep that in mind. I usually buy XXL cotton shirts (because they usually shrink down to proper XL size), but I bought this in XL and it is plenty roomy. Not too big, though, and had minimal to no shrinkage in the wash. Just right for me. It is nice being a little loose though, since you wear this type of shirt in the sun and heat. THE SHIRT: The sun and I have always had an agreement to disagree. And since having skin cancer already at the age of 25, I need to protect myself from the sun, no matter what the weather. So, I do not use this shirt as intended (for fishing) but as a lightweight sun-shirt for general wear. The fabric is 100% cotton, very light-weight, and fairly durable for its light-weightness (if that is a word :D...). It seems to breathe well with the vented back, and is quite cool, no pun intended. As a note: If you use this shirt to conceal a weapon, sew in a patch of heavier fabric where the pistol normally rides if you have a "snaggy" pistol. First day, my 1911's hammer made a nice rip on my right side. Not the shirt's fault, as a 1911 hammer can grab clothing very efficiently, but something to note.

Nicely made shirt. Sizes are large. I wear large mostly but had to swap this out for a medium and it is a bit large on shoulder seems. Otherwise nice shirt.

I have been traveling to Mexico. I was visiting the Yucatan area (Campeche State) and touring Maya Ruins. The weather is extremely humid and hot. I bought this long sleeve fishing shirt to help climb Mesoamerican pyramids in high humidity. The fit of the shirt was perfect for me. (WARNING: I kept the MEDIUM SIZED shirt, I returned the small). I had plenty of room and it was well ventilated. Sleeve length was perfect and there was plenty of room around the abdominal area. Even though it was extremely warm & humid I decided to wear a long sleeve shirt to keep sun exposure to a minimum. I noticed most of the local men wore long sleeve shirt and long pants too. Most of the tourists wore short sleeve shirts and short pants. I spoke with some of the tourists (from US, England, Netherland, and Germany). I was surprised to find that many fair-skin caucasians from Northern Europe did not have problems with the sun exposure. They seemed very comfortable in short sleeve shirt and short pants. I think sun exposure is not the problem, it is the humidity that makes you sweat and drain your energy. This shirt also had many utility pockets which helped me keep my photography accessories within easy access.
