This things works okay. It shows the wind direction and, to a point, the wind speed. However, either I put it together wrong (it didn't really come with directions) or the fabric is too stiff because it doesn't break at the stiped bands like one would expect. It's always perfectly tubular and seems to indicate wind speed by pointing at an imaginary number on a protractor. So, not exactly what I wanted, but it's servicable.

Best design, manufacturing, materials. This will last a long time. We’ve tried several others and they aren’t even designed well so only last a matter of months out side in real weather.
