Decent for the price
I purchased these ME m16p's for a cheap pair of headphones to work around the house in so i don't tear up my Klipsch S4i's. Overall they are not bad.The bass is surprisingly good for such a low budget in ear earphones.Although not as deep and defines as the S4i's. But theirs also a huge price difference. The mids are OK for Rap,Dubstep and even acoustic. as far as rock or metal they seem to lack in the mids or get drowned out by the bass and treble. These don't seem to do well for metal in my opinion. Another model without the enhanced bass may be better for metal. The mids can be improved with a APP on the i phones. The treble is high, clear and is pretty good.Comfort is not great due to the thin tips. They are better than the stock i phone and i pod ear phones though. I plan on looking for after market tips. The microphone works fine,no problems there. If your wanting a cheap upgrade from stock earphones these will serve you fine. You may want to look for something else if you listen to a lot of metal or hard rock.

Overal Great Solid Construction, Maybe Worth an Upgrade to the M6P
I use these headphones primarily for piano class and to listen to music at work on my computer. I'd probably use them a lot more if I didn't already own MEE's M6P, which I prefer to keep on me for outdoors listening and where I want better clarity and reproduction accuracy. This review will be based on comparisons with that headset. The M16P's are great headphones for everyday use. As I said above, I use them when I want to listen to music without hassle or need to take them out quickly for use in my classes. They have great build quality being made mostly out of metal with a small rubber band where the cable meets the bud. I'm a huge fan of the cable quality, although it does have some issues with making noise while being moved around (hence why I usually use them sitting down). I unfortunately haven't used the microphone all too much, so I can't comment on it's quality. However, I prefer this style in-line mic over the most recent M6P's, since that one is prone to damage and I don't usually like resistance-based in-line volume control (the slider on the M6P).The M6P outdoes this model while on the go and in regards to overall music clarity and accuracy. I've noticed that these are ever-so slightly muddied in range when compared to the M6P's. It's not a huge margin, but it is the make-or-break factor for me.Pros:Solid constructionInline mic/control without resistance-based volume controlCable quality"Meh"s:A little muddy compared to the M6P'sHave a difficult time pinpointing individual instruments in a trackCons:Cable makes hard-to-ignore noise when runningOverall, these are great headphones. If you want something with great build feel and great sound for the price, I'd go for it. However, if you are willing to spend a bit more, want to exercise with your headphones, prefer clearer audio reproduction and don't mind plastic, I'd say go for the M6P's.

I received them and everything looked fine except that the right earbud was not working
I received them and everything looked fine except that the right earbud was not working. It was playing music very faintly, only loud enough so that you could tell that sound was coming out, completely different from the left earbud, which was playing fine. The product has a warranty, but the hassle and cost of shipping the earbuds back is not worth it even if they were to replace the earbuds.

Durable, Light weight, sound great.
As the title says. These are much better than any skull candies. They have also been through the wash and are still working fine. Great value

Not as good as M9!!
I have the M9 first and second generation, and the flat cable M9. They all have better sound than these. These have a deep base, but sacrifice mid-range and treble as a result - so lose clarity on vocals. The flat cable M9 is by far the best of the 3 units.

Decent headphones but volume cannot be too high
Was looking for headphones while running. These ones are good at noise isolating, BUT when having the volume almost to the max the treble gets too sharp requiring the volume to be decreased. Bass is decent. Have only used the microphone once and the person I was talking to had some difficulty hearing me. Overall, a decent pair of headphones but unable to turn the music loud which is what I look to do while running (especially in the gym).

Definitely worth the money
These have a full, clean sound, especially for how inexpensive they are. They might be a bit bass heavy, but the bass isn't overbearing. I bought a JVC headset and they sound tinny compared to these, which was surprising because i have JVC monitors and they are great. They are also extremely durable. This is the second pair I've bought but only because I lost the first pair.My only complaint is that they are slightly too long for my use. Whenever I squat down, e.g. to work on a piece of equipment at ground level, I have to be very careful I don't catch the cable around my knee and pull them out when I stand up.

Not too happy!
Could have been better... maybe for the price, this is the best one can get, but i would have still expected better sound quality and a better fit!

good for the price
really i feel these are a 3 star rating but they get 4 because they are very good value for the price. The bad:I find them too long to fit comfortably in my ear, particularly with the double flanged buds. These double buds are great in some ways making a really good seal and improving the quality of sound but i found they make the whole unit such a long cylinder that there's no room in my ear for them (my ear not made from straight lines and all). Alternatively I found I could push them a long way in but this caused sufficient leverage effect on the joint between the bud and the housing that the bud came off in my ear a couple of times which isn't great. In fact I had a public panicky moment when I realised the bud was lodged way in my ear and wouldn't come out -I had to stand in front of my reflection in a restaurant window while i used my house key to dig it back out again. The lunchtime diners were undoubtedly appalled by this display but I was too engrossed with my ear mining to notice. The good:The sound is quite good although not enough depth or base for my taste, They seem very well constructed and feel like a better quality item than the price would suggest. They come with a better than average range of bud shapes and sizes so as long as you have the right shaped ear (capable of taking the long shaft) you should find the size for you.I'm still using them after 2 months so that suggests to me they can't bee all that bad but I will be getting something more curvy at some point.

Good, affordable earphones with microphone
They have a pretty decent sound quality for their price. Bass is too strong for some types of music, so you need to use some equalizer to lower basses if you want to listen rock music, for instance. With good equalization, the sound is quite good. The mic does it's job, but the button is pretty useless. On the webpage it said that they were fully compatible with PowerAmp, but the button only works for picking up calls, not for pause music or skip tracks, as claimed. Didn't work either with Google Play Music.Overall, they are very good earphones with mic, at a very reasonable price (if purchased with discount). Usually earphones with mic in this price range sound like crap, but this one's sound is similar to other earphones in price ranges much higher.

Good sound quality and the mic works very well
Good sound quality and the mic works very well. Budget packaging and weak clip that snapped after just a few uses mark it down, but otherwise a very good set of headphones.
