This is something that I needed without realizing how much it was needed. I bought a house, and found myself paying for the lawn to be done, and after the lawn was done I always found myself not happy with how it was done and ended up doing it myself. I was using the weed Wacker to do the edging but wanted the edging to look cleaner. A friend of mine suggested getting this, especially the one with the foot plate and I can't express enough how helpful this was. I was able to do the edging perfectly without issue, I also did the beds around the tree to add red mulch, and it was amazing. This is helpful, strong, and you will thank yourself for getting it for sure. This is indeed a great investment. I'm 6 foot 2 and this is the perfect size for me. It's also very comfortable to use, it won't hurt your back or hands. The best thing, because of the foot plate, you will end up doing your edging so much faster with such speed that you will end up doing the flower beds and beds for the trees like I did.

Good for light work. Purchased to edge flower bed around a tree. Worked well. Not sure how it would hold up to heavy duty use. Easy enough to assemble. Good value for money.

Picked up this manual edger to tidy up my lawn edges. Gotta say, it does a pretty neat job once you get the hang of it. The blade's sharp enough to slice through tough grass and even some small roots. That wide foot platform's a winner - lets you put your whole weight into it for those stubborn spots. The long handle's great for my back, no more hunching over like a garden gnome. But it's not all smooth sailing in lawn land. This thing takes some serious muscle power, especially on harder soil. The saw-tooth edge is handy, but can get gunked up with dirt pretty quick. While the handle's long, it could use some extra padding - my hands were feeling it after a long session. The blade's not adjustable, so you're stuck with one depth for all your edging needs. And while it's sturdy, it's also on the heavy side - bit of a workout lugging it around the yard. Overall, it's a solid tool if you're after a clean edge and don't mind putting in some work. Good for smaller yards or folks who enjoy a bit of garden exercise. I had a very hard time using this tool, because you must use a good amount of force to get it to work. I would not recommend this to anyone that light in body weight! I'm not light in body weight, and I still fight it to work for me. It is a good tool though, made strong.

This is actually a useful yard tool. I use a string trimmer for edging but at times you need something stronger to get a good edge that frequent use of a string trimmer can keep in good shape. It is easy to use and did what I wanted it to do. I had grass encroaching further into the driveway than I thought so now I have cleaned up those edges. It takes a little effort but nothing back breaking. Only used one time but so far I am satisfied. It works better that a flat shovel for edging.

Wish I bought this much sooner. Have used it to create the outline of a new garden bed, as well as edge my sidewalk and driveway. I have a corner property with a ton of sidewalk and using this I got through it so quick. Seems to be made well and has held up through several uses.

Easy to assemble and looks like a very sturdy tool. I have not used it yet. But I love it. I hope it will stay sharp for years.

This edger is simple and great to use the teeth is just like sawing the grass along your paths. I only move it half a blade lenth from the first cut to make it easy to get a nice cut. Highly recommend this edger. I am over 60 with a bad wrist so needed something easy to use and i found it in this edger.

I am a small person and don't have a lot of weight to put behind a push, so I thought this would be great for edging the lawn. It is quite sharp and cuts through the sod very well, but the loop on the top where your foot sits is only just for that, just putting your foot there and pushing down, there is no hitting with your foot or getting some leverage on it first, as the loop prevents you from doing anything but pushing down, which didn't work so well for me. Just a heads up for anyone that might be in a similar situation! I have another edger with just a flat top and no loop, definitely not as sharp or well made as this one, but I will have to go back to that as I just couldn't get through the tough stuff without needing to hit the top a bit. Otherwise it is great and loved the handle!

Bought this to remove some old Sir Walter Buffalo around 20sqm of lawn. Worked perfectly, with some very tough Magnolia roots creeping underneath. Had to be a little careful to avoid putting a lot of pressure on the handle.. Did the job perfectly. Great value also.

Tool was good for job
