Amazing Build Quality!
Trail Mix Belt, where have you been all of my life? Seriously, this is one of the greatest belts I have ever used. I have been through a half dozen of these before I found the Nathan offering. They usually get returned because they move all over the place while running. Nathan's design is flawless. It stays exactly where you want it to stay. The belt can be adjusted to fit any body shape. If there is any extra belt slack, the belt has a velcro wrap to secure the loose fabric. The belt has two 10oz bottles of fluid. I wish the belts held larger bottles, but it's okay. The only time I use my belt is during training runs for marathons. The center pouch is big enough to store 14 GU energy gel packets or one 8oz water bottle - for sizing reference. There is also a front mesh pouch, where the Nathan logo is that allows other items. I usually put some moleskin, bandaids and an extra pair of socks in that part.During a marathon, I will not run with this belt because there are aid stations every two miles. This belt was invaluable for me when I completed a 50K (31.06 miles) run in the woods of Arkansas. Aid stations are every six miles for the ultras. While they stock you up with food and fluids, you are on your own until you reach aid. I would suck all 20 ounces down between the stations and I had plenty of GU gels to keep me fueled up. The belt was worn for over 8 hours that day, and I forgot it was there half of the time. The final part I love about the belt may be the best part. On the front of the belt, there are two bungee cords. These are there so you can secure items you don't want to wear any longer during your run. I was able to securely hold my gloves and beanie and keep going. The cords are big enough and tight enough to put an extra pair of my Vibram Five Fingers on my hips, should I need it. Definitely worth the investment!

Not annoying and totally awesome. Must have for summer runners.
Obviously it takes a little getting used to and the sound of the water slushing around can be distracting. That being said I am thrilled that I bought this. I take it out for any run 6+ miles and I have no complaints. It adjusts easily and doesn’t chafe wherever I put it. Living in Florida, not chafing is a the top of my list. It’s tight, doesn’t jiggle, and stays where I put it. Adjustable side straps make it quick and easy to tighten as you go if maybe it’s too lose or you’ve lost some mass during the run. The fanny pack holds my iphone10xr, sunglasses, body glide, keys. I put two or three gu packets in the tiny pocket. It doesn’t move it doesn’t jiggle and it’s not a distraction. I don’t know what I was doing before the belt but I wasn’t living my best life that’s for sure

Very solid hydration belt with room for small improvements
I've used a FuelBelt for the past year or so but decided it was time for a new hydration belt with more capacity. My old FuelBelt held two 6-oz bottles whereas this Nathan belt holds two 10-oz bottles, which definitely makes a difference for longer runs (>10 miles). The bottles themselves seem to be well constructed and easily slide in and out of their holsters, but only while the belt is on - it's a lot harder to put the bottles back in if you're just filling them up in the kitchen. I use one bottle for water, another for Scivation Xtend (a great intra-workout catalyst for low-carbers by the way), and so far there haven't been any problems with leaks. Two quick things to note regarding the bottles:1) Be careful when you close the bottle with your teeth - the yellow lip part has pinched my lips before.2) Wish these bottles were clear so I could accurately tell how full they are.The belt is a lot easier to put on/take off due to the plastic clasp design (as opposed to the FuelBelt's velcro design). This will also help with durability - the reason why I wanted to replace my FuelBelt was that the velcro was becoming less effective over time, with the entire belt falling off twice in the past month. The back pocket is roomy and easily fits my phone, keys, ID, and some cash for emergencies. One thing that I wish could be improved on is the fact that the belt does seem to ride up a bit for me. This might be because I wear the belt very low (directly on my hip bones, below the waistline of my running shorts) in order to prevent awkward tan lines from the hydration belt (I mostly run shirtless during long runs). Another reason that could be causing this issue is probably the uneven weight distribution from 20 oz of liquid + small personal items all in the back vs. nothing on the front. I just end up having to push down the belt once in a while - not the biggest deal, but mildly annoying.Overall a fantastic option for long distance runners that need a bit more hydration than the traditional belts with 6-oz bottles.

Perfect - especially if you hate carrying things
I couldn't ever imagine running with running with anything other than my watch and sunglasses, but I got to the the point that i just couldn't keep building my mileage over 15 without carrying water. Eventually, I gave in and just bought this to try it out. I first tried it on my back and couldn't handle it, it bounced around way too much even when if had it as tight as possible. I thought I was going to return it, but I tried swinging it around to the front, and after a few minutes, I stopped noticing it completely. It does bounce a little bit, but its completely tolerable and you really do just stop noticing it completely, even on trails with a lot of climbing and descending. I have a fairly springy stride, so if you run more flat, you may be able to get away with it on the back. I have no complaints with this. Lots of people said the bottles leak, but I'm pretty sure they're just not taking the time to close them properly. Also, the pouch fits an iPhone 5 just fine, if you like carrying your phone, it probably wouldn't bounce much either. Also, once you get over the fact that you're running with a fanny pack on, it looks pretty cool
