Love these canisters!
Small just as described. Looks very pretty on the counter and the closure is good to keep air tight.

Great look and seal
Expected the metal to be a bit thicker, but the look and seal are great - still serviceable in any kitchen - but not 'Sur la table' quality. Just seems like inexpensive grade metal, but at least they are stainless

Well made
I have decided to replace my 45 year old (probably toxic) food storage containers with something safer.I didn’t just rush into the choice I made. I’m not good at making decisions. After literally a month of comparing glass vs stainless and all the different types of containers and lids I finally decided to purchase this brand. The seal is great. The canisters are not too thin but they are not heavy when filled. There was a lot of residual polish on the interiors of the canisters but that washed right off with a little soap and water. It’s not like I would have used them prior to washing anyway.I’m very happy with this set. So much so that I have ordered another identical set as well as several other canisters in different sizes made by this company.

Containers look great on out new granite countertops. Have tea bags, Splenda and 1/2 and 1/2 brown sugar

My flour molded in this container
These were attractive. They rusted easily if they came in contact with a small amount of water. The seal was not tight. They let in air, which caused tge food items to spoil. I stored flour in one, and opened it two months later and the flour had molded. I do not understand. Nothing like that has ever happened to me with any storage container. I live on the first floor, not the basement in an apartment in Philadelphia. My apartment is not particularly humid. I have sone other flour stored in other food containers, and some other unopened bags of flour in ziplock bags, and they are all fine.I am baffled. I had some walnuts go rancid and mold when stored in one of these. I assumed it was because the oil in the metal had some kind of reaction. So, I thought I would be okay with dry all purpose flour. Even though I have had these for a while, I did not use them that frequently. I mostly use glass jars with a seal closure, or vacuum sealed canisters. These were awful. I regret buying these.Like I put cake flour in this 2 months ago. I was going to bake a cake tonight, and I opened it up and it was a container of furry, hairy mold, and the flour had congealed. I was going to wash this, as grossed out as I was by the contents. But, I thought about it. If this happened with dry flour, why would I want to keep this? So I tossed this. I bought this as a part of a set. I tossed the one with the moldy rancid nuts 3 months after I purchased the set. I will be searching for the remaining two to toss. This is the worst food storage item I have ever bought. It was not fit for the purpose that it was intended, which was storing food.I opened up a fresh bag of cake flour that was purchased at the same time as the flour in this stainless steel container to make my cake. That flour was stored right next to this container in a ziplock bag. It was fresh, normal, dry and mold free. Yeah, I am baffled.
