Armstrong: The Adventurous Journey of a Mouse to the Moon (Mouse Adventures)

I bought this book for my 5 yr old grandson (well all 3 of the mouse adventures), and they are simply wonderful. The art is gorgeous, each story is clever and delightful. My grandson will love them, I have no doubt. I love how each story weaves the mouse's adventures with historical information. It inspires inventiveness at the same that it provides a history of invention. All within the endearing story of an inventive, brave, and adventurous mouse. Each story has excitement, failures, and successes. I highly recommend these books.

We love this book. It is quite a big, thick book for this kind of story- but the illustrations are beautiful! The story would be exciting for any kid who loves air/ space theme. There is not a single “boring” page, it is bright, entertaining all along and the pictures make it feel like a movie. Recommend! I would definitely think about buying other books in the series.

Such a beautiful book. The story is cute but the illustrations are gorgeous. I bought it for my boys ages 4 and 6 and both were mesmerized by bothe the story and the pictures. I ordered Lindbergh book now, too. I also bought this book as a gift and both kids and their parents enjoy it!

Love, love these books! So does my grandson. We read our first book in our local library, but with everything closed due to a bad coronavirus, we bought all books by that awesome author. Highly recommend!

I bought this book as a gift, but before we gave it to the lucky 5 year-old recipient, my husband both read it from cover to cover. The story is extremely creative, and the illustrations are fabulous. This book richly deserves the critical praise it has been receiving. Probably a little ambitious for a 5 year-old, but not entirely, and of course the parents will want to read it to their child in any case. This is a wonderful story about pluck, ingenuity, and perseverance, with just the right amount of whimsy thrown in.

My sister got this book for my boys (8 and 9). We have been reading this book together during our outloud read time. And combining it with other books about Armstrong and activities like making a space ship/suits for stuffed animals. Amazing illustrations and written in a very interesting way. Highly recommend it.

This is by far my sons favorite book, we hv been reading it everyday with other torben kuhlmann books. The illustrations and story ignites the imagination of my child and inspire him to do great things. Best book ever, and really great for home library!

My wife is a primary school teacher and her latest topic has been space. She has read this book virtually and the children love it and from there has sparked some amazing discussion. This book is also very well illustrated.

This is a stunning book. The images are sublime and they accompany a lovely text. We read this over a series of nights to our four year old. He very much enjoyed the illustrations.
