Easy installation and exactly as described.

I installed this on a switch plate in a dark hallway leading to the garage. The switch plate in question has two switches. One to light up the hallway and the other to operate a Ring spotlight camera. Whenever we blindly tried to turn on the hall light switch we would accidentally turn off the switch to the Ring camera. This invention saves the day. Thanks to Eric the inventor who included a very nice Thank You note along with the Switch Guard. Highly recommend!

I installed this to keep people from shutting off our front porch light which is on a dusk to dawn sensor. With a series of six light switches in a row, it is easy to people to turn off the wrong switch. This device is just what we needed to stop that from happening. You would need to push the little button on the side and slide the slider up or down to be able to push the other side of the switch. It is a good design. I got white one. The screws that come with it are a bit longer than needed and they also have a very poor paint job, so you can see the silver under the white. Over all this is a good device and recommended if you need something to prevent use of a decorative switch.

Using this with the Moes 2 Gang Zigbee switch. The lower switch powers a light that is controlled by the smart home, I wanted a way to prevent people from accidentally pressing that switch but still have access to the upper switch. This does exactly that!

I have a few switches that are linked to my motion and Ring cameras. Lucky I found this cuz now I no longer have to put tape over the switches so the kiddos don't accidently turn them off.

There's no motion detection. Just a plastic switch. My daughter found out where the switch is for the garbage disposal and I quickly bought this to cover that switch up. And it was a great buy and provides some safety measures when I'm not looking.

Screw is too large and only comes in one size. Does not work and I’m not the only one with this problem. Hopefully they take returns.
