For the seller: What is the weight limit?

I don't recall a spec and there doesn't seem to be one on the manufacturers web site even. It's quite a sturdy piece in itself but I'd imagine the weight it will support is partly dependent on what you attach it to. In other words, it can be installed to a stud or other solid material but can also be installed in to dry wall (with anchors). Something more solid than dry wall will undoubtedly support more weight than dry wall, although mine is installed in dry wall and it's quite sturdy even with that set up. I've had multiple loads from the dry cleaner on mine with no problem. I'd be happy to test a weight if you specify an amount and provide additional feedback...

Can you hang wet laundry?

Yes, as long it's not 10 pair of wet blue jeans. It is not a handrail, but it is sturdy. It does bend when you lean on it.
