Okay I’ve waited to write my review!!! After I had my baby a nurse at the hospital informed me about the willow breast pump! She told me the price, she told me it’s a learning Curve but she loved them. I gave it some thought and kept plugging the wall breast pump in for a few months when I could. Well I wasn’t keeping up with my baby, I was missing my pump schedule because my schedule was busy! I thought about it and thought about it, i needed something that I could have more ease. I decided to go with the Willow. The willow is a game changer! If you are a mama on the go and you pump every three hours these are for you! I still have my wall breast pump for back up but I mostly use my willow. I work a FT job, and college PT and my daughter is three months old. I wasn’t pumping like I should with the wall pump because I was go go go! I got the willow and was scared because of all the reviews!!! Well there is always going to be bad reviews! I finally have learned my willow and more milk is being stored in my freezer finally! Yes I have had mishaps, but it really helps when you watch the videos and research. I definitely would say buy the reusable containers the bags get too expensive the containers I just pour into my wall breast pump bags and freeze the milk. I ordered my flange sizes to small in the beginning, and you can tell because your nipples are sucked so hard they feel like there going to fall off! But as soon as I ordered the correct size it was fine!!! When I get the error messages I don’t stress out I always check my app and do what it says and I’m up and pumping! It’s an investment but I would take this over a cord anyday. One thing I would change is they need two chargers or one that has two connections... I’ve had to replace one of my Willow’s because it started making a loud noise but the process was so smooth! I never missed a pump with the exchange process. Yes, I’ve spilt a little milk, yes I have flipped the pumps over before changing the one to two and spilling a little milk. Yes I’ve bought the wrong flange sizes, yes I’ve spent money! But it’s worth it! I pack them up and take them every where I go! Does it make my boobs look bigger! At Times yes but they fit under my shirts, or I’ll wear a sweater or jacket to cover. Are they loud? At times yes, I think they are louder with the containers than the actual bags. Can you bend over? With the containers you have to squat, the bags I could do almost everything. I love that the app keeps track of my history. Suction. Well sometimes it’s uncomfortable and the suction maybe a little stronger but after I changed sizes the process was better.

I received it 2 months ago, It was perfect for the first 2 sessions then started blinking in gray and never pumped properly again used it only 2 times the rest was all straggling to find out the issue, I’ve tried all troubleshooting in the hand guide without any results. Very bad experience and not with the cost and i don’t know who to contact

Whatever you do don’t buy this item on Amazon as the willow company will NOT honor their warranty. For such an expensive breast pump you’d think it wouldn’t be so easy to break. As you can see in the picture there is what they call a “foot” which operates the commands for the pump and after only three short months of owning this pump and with light use of maybe once a day or every other day it broke and does not work because of this tiny little piece. I reached out to both Amazon and the willow company and neither would help or replace the part. Not only is this frustrating for a first time mom but also because this was such an expensive breast pump in which I only got one electric breast pump so to be without an electric breast pump accessible for a working mom was a no go. Save your money and don’t buy this product it really isn’t that great of a breast pump. It is not only uncomfortable because of the hard plastic on my breast it is also so incredibly strong on only the first level that it really destroyed my nipples. I had nipple trauma from these pumps, it gave me milk blisters. Not only did this breast pump hurt but also does not come with as many parts as you may think for such an expensive pump. The product only comes with the the two batteries and the milk bag containers NOT the milk containers. You have to literally buy everything separately. No case, no spare parts, no sizing flanges, no milk containers and only one charger. For half the price get the Momcozy m9, comes with everything you’ll need plus some. Just to point out more expensive does not always mean better.

This is my second time using willow! I’ve used the hospital grade medela with freemie cups previously. This pump is a life saver for me! I’m a registered nurse and finding time to pump is difficult. The assembly, the transfer of milk, the cleaning, etc. with traditional pumps added so much more time to my pump breaks (if I even got one) I purchased my first willow in 2020 and was very happy. I honestly would throw my pumps on and chart or other tasks! The bags are very sturdy and don’t leak and once I got the hang of things, flip mishaps were very rare. The pumps always have me feeling like I was able to empty fully. I would highly recommend! The parts were also very durable and even though the price might be a shock, I was able to resell my last willow for 60% of what I paid originally for it (and I had for almost 2 years), so it’s a good investment!
