The high quality of this product is shown even before opening the box. The excellent packaging is well designed and functional, fully protecting the item in transit, yet very easy to unpack. Assembling the light is straightforward, following the illustrated guide enclosed. It is easy to assemble, with a well-weighted baseplate. Once assembled and plugged in, the lamp is ready to use, featuring built-in controls on the lamp shaft. However, it is necessary to pair the lamp with its remote control (needs 2 AAA batteries), which is fairly straightforward, though not quite as described in the manual. The control can be parked on the lamp shaft as it is magnetic. In use, the lamp is really impressive. I wanted it chiefly to use as an uplighter, and as such it excels. The LED design ensures that there is negligible side scatter, which can provide a distraction, and nearly all of the light is projected upwards. The light has a variety of well-chosen colour temperatures and a good variation in brightness. The angle of the LED assembly can easily be changed for different purposes, but I'm just happy with an uplighter. It's essential that the device remembers the settings you have used when you switch it off. However, one additional benefit I found from this is that you can use it with a 'smart' plug to turn it on and off since it remembers the switch state. I've been able to integrate with my light timers so I don't have to keep turning it on and off myself. In closing, I will comment that this item was actually a replacement. The first one wouldn't set up the remote. Before returning the original, I contacted Outon's service mailbox. I have to say that their several responses were speedy (OK the different time zones helped), committed and helpful. They worked their best, but I made the decision to return the device. Nevertheless, I had no hesitation replacing it. Buy with confidence from this company.

I read other reviews and had my hesitations based on weight of the base and its sturdiness along with the unreliability of the remote control. Nevertheless I bought 2. One did have a problematic remote and the other was simply perfect. The base stand is strong and sturdy as is the overall assembly. I ordered a new replacement for the first defective unit which worked fine. So now one remote controls both lamps which was exactly what I wanted. I’ve tested using the other remote to control the lights and it’s fine. It is easy to switch remotes to control the lamp by turning off the lamp, then keep your finger on the on/off button on the remote, then switch on the lamp. That’s it. No issues and the colour temperature options transition smoothly if yiu keep your finger on the remote. A good product.

Good value Uplighter that also looks good and is decently made. Plenty of adjustment for brightness and warmth although a bit more of a warmer/amber hue at the warmest setting would be good. A useful facility is the remote control which not only switches it on and off but provides full adjustment of brightness and colour warmth.

I needed a quick, not too expensive solution to convert a gloomy temporary rented accommodation I am staying in into a cosy and practical living space (can see what you are doing when you need to). So much lighting is over designed, over priced and under performs but, on paper at least, this looked unpretentious and affordable enough to take a chance. From the moment I opened the box this light has exceeded my, admittedly sceptical. expectation. The build quality is surprisingly good compared to some very expensive equivalents I looked at in stores. There is a discrete elegance about the honest simplicity of the design but best of all it lights the room wonderfully, matching the varying needs of different scenarios – bright when you are active and need to see what you are doing, soft diffused light, dimmed to create a relaxing ambience when you want to chill. The controls are straight forward and direct. You go straight to what you want and the setting is remembered so there is none of that tedious scrolling through a sequence every time you switch it on or off. I am very pleased with it – especially as I bought 2!!

Moved to a new place with all lights downstairs the spotlight bulbs. Bought this first for the lounge and the brightness is just like overhead fluorescent tube. Unlike the spotlight bulb that shines too brightly, this floor lamp light is much gentler and comfortable to eyes. It’s so good that I buy another one for the downstairs office and I don’t have to use the horrible spotlight to work at night! With the remote control I can easily turn the light on when I went in the office (the original light switch for the spotlight was blocked by a closet) so it solves the problem of getting light on quickly in the dark. It can be assembled easily, space-saving and yet sturdy. Highly recommend.

Possibly the best purchase I have ever made, The photos do not do it justice, it is smart, easy on the eye, no glare, the light faces upwards, and best of all we reckon it will pay for itself within 12 months energy use, probably a lot earlier. The bulb will last for around 50-100 years, by then our Grandkids will probably be using it. The remote is so easy to use, this is a fantastic product, and uses on the low setting which is perfect for cosy nights in, around 1p a hour, our previous lamp was using around 10p a hour. 6 foot high, it just blends in to our living room, a fantastic product for the price paid, congrats to the company who provide this, buy it.

I liked how simple it was to assemble this stand lamp. It has modern design, it’s bright and has a nice temperature of the light. RGB modes are fun to play around with and some of them have smooth animations. My only concern is that there are no buttons on the lamp itself, but you can turn it on/off by using remote or app.

Ich war zunächst skeptisch, ob ich die Lampe wirklich allein aufgebaut bekomme, aber es ist wirklich kinderleicht. Die Teile werden zusammengeschraubt, was gut gelingt, da das Gewinde gut verarbeitet ist und das Verschrauben perfekt funktioniert. Sobald das Netzteil am Strom ist, kommt ein wunderbares Licht. Man kann am Bedienelement an der Stange die Lichtfarbe und Helligkeit wählen oder über die Fernbedienung. Die verschiedenen Farbtöne sind wunderschön und zu den verschiedenen Gelegenheiten passend. Ich bin begeistert von der Lampe. Sie sieht sehr elegant und schick aus und funktioniert perfekt. Der Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Werde die Lampe erneut bestellen. 5 Sterne
