Not sure how much help it is applied topically, but it's not irritating to skin. Mixes well with a good-quality neutral lotion, in proportions as recommended on label.

The one thing I could say about this product, you really get your money is worth, I also like the fact that you can use it for multiple purposes like I just recently made some turmeric soap and it smells so good. I can’t stop using this product.!
