Keeps the well filter from freezing.
I am using this device as a pump house heater in my mountain home. The old folks used to put an incandescent light bulb turned on in their pump houses to prevent freezing. I have a fiberglass fake rock over my well pump which is insulated. There is a plastic carbon filter housing attached to the pump which has frozen in the past and broken. Once the housing breaks the well pumps water continuously. I only turn the device on in the dead of winter and it has been successful in preventing the filter housing from freezing. It is screwed into a electrical clamp light fixture.

Good value for your money
These are my go-to heating bulbs for some time now. I like to continue heating my terrariums into the night and these are just the thing to do it w/o the weird blue or red light the others produce. They do seem to last quite awhile which is a great selling point. The only thing to note is: BE CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING THESE. They do not produce light so it may be difficult to tell by sight that the thing is Blistering Hot. You will feel that heat though, I have one in a flukers hood with a clip (smallest setup I have) and that thing gets ridiculously hot.

well made and puts off some good head.
I use these in my brood box for the first couple of week of a quail needs the temp much warmer than the shed. I like them better than glass heat lamps. NO light, so no warries with having dark phase times. much tougher than glass and will not break as easily. The ceramic makes sure there is not super hot spot to worry about.

Nice heat distribution!! Will buy again.
I’ve only had this for a week but the quality is great!! It heats up my turtles basking area nicely. The size is on the small side but it puts out great heat. Over 100F. I would make sure to keep a distance from the site needed.
