The perfect fake eggs!
These work! My chickens would only lay in 1 nest. I put these eggs in both of the nests and both nests get used now. NO MORE yelling chickens when they need to lay an egg. The weight is very close to a real egg and they are so easy to clean. They look like real eggs and I sometimes grab one of those instead of the real ones.

Best Eggs Ever for Hen house!
First off, these do not look real. To me, anyway. My hens love them. These eggs are shiny, whereas a real egg has more of a matte finish. If you're looking for a "real egg" look, these are a bit off, however, these are the best eggs I've ever used with my hens. For context, I plant them in the nest boxes to give my hens ideas about what they might do there. Here's why these are the best; 1 - My hens think these are real. Ceramic eggs look more real to me, but my hens never liked them. I think it's because of the weight and feel of them. My hens would just peck them to pieces. These eggs have a similar weight and feel to real eggs, so when they push them around in the nest it feels right. 2 - I can tell at a glance that they are not real. These eggs have a slight shine to them, which makes it easy for me to tell the difference between real and planted just by looking in the nest box. I don't have to pick up each egg in the nest box to tell which is which like I did with the ceramic ones. 3 - These are very sturdy and durable. My hens have not pecked at them yet, but if they do, the eggs will be just fine - no shattered pieces and angry chickens like with ceramic eggs. 4 - You can't beat the price. They're a bit more expensive than plastic Easter eggs from the dollar store (which did NOT go over well, by the way...), but for the sudden rise in egg production, general happiness of my hens, and long term durability, it is a win/win. I would absolutely recommend these for hen house use.

Work great for hens and kids
Really affordable and durable set of faux eggs. These worked great and our free range hens started laying immediately in the nest boxes these were in. I changed up the faux egg positions every few days to make sure there were no “favorite” boxes and everyone got used to laying in them all. Once you do get hens accustom to boxes, I would remove these. I did have one hen go broody and wanted to sit on a pair of these wooden eggs. Luckily, I was able to substitute a nest of fertile eggs since we have roosters. But do beware these are a very convincing replica to chickens! They have a smooth uniform shape and a sheen so they are easily distinguished from freshly laid eggs. Really appreciate this set being so affordable. We even washed them and gave them to our toddler to play around with before using them for the hens and he had a ball stacking them in and out of a carton. Would be a fun addition to a kid’s play kitchen.

Looks real
Realistic, just like real eggs. The only way i can tell them apart is by weight. But, my chickens are still eating their eggs. It worked for the first few days, i collected all fresh eggs, but now there are only eggshells left in the nesting boxes.

Eggs Worked Just as Intended!
Eggs worked like a charm. My girls moved to a new coop and were laying everywhere but where they were supposed to. Put the eggs in the nesting boxes and the next day they got the hint. Eggs were a large to XL egg size and were heavy in weight so they didn’t move around much in the boxes. Good quality along with a good price.

Perfect replica and very adaptable! Great for toddlers as well as chickens!
These are the perfect size and weight to fool your birds into thinking they’re real eggs. Great for training new layers on where to lay. Bonus for me is that they’re wood. We have roll-away nest boxes where eggs will roll into a collection box, so they don’t stay in the nesting area. We drilled a tiny hole in these and glued a small wire, so it could be poked through the nesting pad and hooked under, and will stay in place when any additionally laid eggs will roll down. PARENTS: These make a fantastic addition to your child’s play kitchen for a great price!
