We had tiny flies appear not long after repotting a succulent in fresh new indoor houseplant soil. I didn't want to use a spray, so looked for other solutions and found this. It was perfect for my needs and in 10 days had trapped approx 21 little flies. They seem to have been eradicated now but I've changed it for a new one just so I can satisfy myself that they're all gone. The sticky area itself measures approx 2.5 inches high and wide, with a 2 inch non-sticky spike. The sticky bit is double sided. Just peel off the backing on both sides and insert in the soil. They're designed in The Netherlands and the packaging says they'll last up to 3 months and are made of 100% recycled plastic. Great product at a great price. Buy with confidence!

These petals are very sticky and great if you have gnats in your plant soil. They really work. I have treated compost with Gnat Stop also and put a layer of slate chippings on top.

Although these are quite flimsy and I struggled to put them into the soil (it was quite dry), I decided to stick them onto the pot instead. I've checked them today and they are full of fungus gnats. They definitely work!

Easy to use, no unpleasant chemicals. They also look OK in my plant pots & they are working, the Nat flies are attracted to them & getting stuck. Definitely helping to get rid of the Nat flies

Easy to use and work well!

I don't think these are that effective used in the way intended. It took about 3 days to catch any, and maybe caught a dozen in a week. Meanwhile, I've swatted about 50 by hand using this. Maybe it needs more time in the pot so will persist but had hoped it would attract and kill more than it has in less time. My feeling is its catching half of any new gnats as they emerge from the soil so perhaps a spray or something or larvae killer would really get rid quicker.

They are very effective at catching the fungus gnat, I just wish I could get rid of them in the first place

These don't work.

You do have to work slowly to remove the paper backing in one piece - but after that, the product itself is great. And VERY sticky - which is good. When I woke up the day after I’d put one each in a couple of my plants, I was amazed at how many little gnats were trapped. These are easy to use, and super effective. I prefer little yellow flowers to any of the traps that are out there. I’ll definitely reorder and keep using these!
