We have regular ubongo and purchased this because we LOVE the regular ubongo. This 3D version is quite a bit harder, but still doable. My 8 year old daughter can figure it out and play with us. Very fun!

I bought this game for a small party, and honestly, I was a bit worried that it might be too easy for adults. Fortunately, it turned out to be more challenging than I expected. Because of that, I noticed that some people who weren't familiar with this type of puzzle struggled with the green-level problems right from the start. However, as the difficulty gradually increased, I saw many of them adapt and keep up with the others.Given the nature of this game, which uses three-dimensional shapes, there is a basic level of difficulty. Not all adults have excellent spatial awareness, so I believe it strikes a good balance as a fun, quick-thinking game for gamers.

This is one of the universally loved game in our household. Even the little ones can have fun participating by removing the 2 levels rule for them. Also a great game to play with first timers as it’s very easy to teach.

Even when playing with many people at a game convention, I don't think we ever scored points or played it as a "game." Instead, it's a really fun tactile set of puzzles you do in parallel with other folks. There are four levels of difficulty, so everyone has fun at their own challenge level, and each card has several variants of the puzzle. I have played this as a solo game and had just as much fun. There's hours and hours of puzzle solving in this box.

Just what my daughter wanted! She has the earlier version and wanted to try the 3D. Quite pleased. Great, fun game for family game night.

Son had this in his gifted class and was a bit frustrated at first. Bought it for home play and now he loves it and teaches his peers at school how to play.
