Mistral Men's Black Amber Bar Soap, Black Amber

This soap is remarkable. The scent it leaves behind has made my wife sniff me multiple times per day and it lasts all day. She has commented more than once that I smell great at the end of the day. The soap cleans well and doesn't dry my skin out like the body wash I had been using. It lathers up well and has lasted better than some other soaps I had tried previously. Also, even though it's a dark color, it doesn't leave dark stains in the shower like some others I had tried. At $15/bar it's on the expensive side, but is worth it.

This is perfection in soap, truly. Yes, spending 15 bucks on a bar of soap is beyond luxury; it's kind of pretentious. But with Mistral, things are different. The bar is big, as big as Arnold S.'s hand. You're going to get 2.5-3 weeks of daily soaping with one bar. And it doesn't crack or shred; it remains whole. The smell of Cypress, specifically, is phenomenal. It's woody, oceanic, and classic soapy. But what's so wonderful about all the Mistral soaps, is that is sticks with you. I left the shower, and could smell the soap on my arms 1 hour afterward. It wasn't obnoxious, Axe-type cologne smell, but a classy, luxurious, manly soap smelling. I didn't have to put on cologne after the shower, but could revel in this pure, baseline scent. I would highly recommend that you purchase not just Mistral soaps (plural scents), but their aftershaves and shave creams. I have limes, and it's unbelievable. Mistral is quality, and you get what you pay for here guys.

My boyfriend gets spoiled once a year when I purchase this for him. He doesn’t share it so it lasts longer even though it’s a huge bar of soap! For the quality honestly it’s fit for a king and the price is NOT bad at ALL when you see how huge this soap is. He really knows I love him when I buy this. It is silky smooth and leaves no residue. Leaves skin soft and clean with please t scents in every bar. Natural ingredients make me feel good about purchasing. Me and the soap king will continue to buy for Christmas.

A hefty bar of soap that has a satisfying masculine fragrance, smooth silky lather, and really cleans the skin thoroughly. No residue after rinse off. Only the pleasant scent is left behind. Overall, I'd rate this a 4.5 (which rounds up to a 5, I guess). Points docked only for the price (yes, it's premium quality, but it's still just soap... c'mon), and I wish it would have lasted just a little bit longer. But, it's definitely worth the purchase if you have the money to spend. Personally, I'm not rich, so I will only be able to buy this periodically. It won't replace my usual brands, although I wish it could.

Awesome soap that leave me feeling clean and best of all smelling great. DR. S soap has NOTHING on Mistral when it comes to scent and longevity.
