Sunshine in a Bottle – A Tropical Scent You’ll Want to Wear Every Day!
The Sol de Janeiro Hair & Body Perfume Mist is hands-down one of my favorite go-to scents. From the moment I sprayed it, I was hooked on the warm, beachy fragrance—think creamy coconut, vanilla, and pistachio with a hint of caramelized sunshine. It instantly transports you to a tropical vacation, even if you’re just running errands. One of the best parts is its versatility. I love that it’s safe for both hair and body. It doesn’t dry out my hair or feel sticky on my skin. It gives you that just-showered, sweet-summer vibe without being overpowering. The mist is lightweight and refreshing, and I find myself reaching for it throughout the day just for a little mood boost. While it’s not as long-lasting as a traditional perfume, the scent lingers enough to get compliments, and reapplying is part of the fun. The bottle design is also super cute and travel-friendly—perfect to toss in your bag for a quick refresh. Delicious, beachy scent, Safe for hair and body, Lightweight and refreshing, Beautiful packaging, The Sol de Janeiro Hair & Body Mist is a feel-good fragrance that brings tropical vacation vibes to your everyday routine. If you love warm, sweet scents and want something light and wearable, this is a must-have. A true mood-lifter in a bottle!

9.75/10 I smell like a lattè
I was skeptical about this at first. The price is insane for the size of the product, and there’s a million dupes this summer alone. I live in nyc and saw it on the train advertising a few times and the cuteness of the ad persuaded me. I bought it and tried it out at first spray you definitely smell the alcohol base but it dies down rather quickly and then you smell delicious. I personally have locs so spraying this near my head seems far fetched cause I don’t want forever alcohol in my hair but as a daily perfume or to keep it in your purse for a quick spray works for me. Highly recommend for the dolls that like smelling good enough to eat.

My new favorite body mist!
Absolutely obsessed with Sol de Janeiro's Cheirosa 40! The blend of black amber plum, vanilla woods, and jasmine blooms creates the perfect sweet, beachy vibe that transports me to a tropical paradise. What I love most is its versatility - works great on both hair and body. The scent is soft and sophisticated, lingering beautifully without being overwhelming. As a bonus, it actually leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated instead of dried out like other mists. This has become my go-to daily fragrance. Whether for work or going out, it's the perfect finishing touch that captures that effortless Brazilian vibe. Highly recommend! Got it in the 240 ml size so it would last a while!

SO GOOD, SO FAINT 😩
Beijos de Sol is such a gentle fragrance, with way more of a “skin smell” vibe than other Sol de Janiero mists in my collection. It’s like a delightfully beachy, bright mixture of peach & coconut milk carried by solar florals. It brings a lot of beautiful sunny tropical warmth without becoming sweet or cloying, which I love!!It’s a perfect soft, warm summer fragrance that brings happy beachy vibes & memories of summers past (at least for someone raised in CA) but isn’t artificial smelling or overwhelming, even on a super hot day where fragrances can get sickening quickly. Its softness can also be its weakness though, as it remains faint no matter how often you reapply it! It has very low projection/ silage & seems to fade from mildly there at onset to barely detectable levels extremely quickly, even for Sol mists which don’t have great lasting power in general. Which is such a shame because for a few beautiful fleeting moments between the alcohol dry down & the nearly immediate fading of the fragrance it smells almost exactly like HARAJUKU LOVERS G PERFUME from the early 2000’s which I LOVED.It has that same good beachy coconut note where it sits between fresh coconut milk & warm suntan lotion coconut smell, but avoids the gourmand toasty/nutty/sweet quality that a lot of other coconut fragrances have & instead stays in the sunny/creamy/fresh but warm tropical lane. You definitely smell the fresh juicy brightness of the peach at initial spray, with no candy or artificial notes, it really smells like a fresh super ripe juicy peach which sadly does not stay & fades into a barely detectable but warm fruity note in the dry down. There is also a super slight pear note that others have mentioned but it sits under the peach note from initial spray to dry down. Also, as someone who finds flowering pear trees to stink, (IYKYK) this pear note did not turn on my skin like some others had mentioned. I was super worried about this element but the pear is barely there & for me thankfully did not go into rancid stink, but seems to be a risk factor for some if you’re sensitive to that. The frangipani petals honestly are where most of the warmth to this fragrance comes from, & they definitely live in that solar warm floral arena, NOT in the sugar warm floral aspect of frangipani that a lot of mists lean into to. However it is still a sweet/sunny/honey smelling flower like alyssum & brings in the warmth through that aspect but at no point does it overwhelm the coconut milk & peach notes, & instead comes in & gently rounds them out without removing them.I can see why many people were surprised by this mist, but also why I love it: it is definitely NON-gourmand, but rather a fruity sunny floral, coconut fragrance. It’s gentle, tropical, & warm while still staying fresh, fruity & uplifting. I only wish it wouldn’t fade so quickly, & would retain the initial brightness of the peach throughout the dry down. The lack of silage might keep me from buying again, but also the well-balanced, barely there yet delightfully beachy fragrance might bring me back, at least until I find a better G dupe. Faint but lovely!!

Coconut and vanilla
My favorite so far. A *little* similar to the pistachio one, but this is not as heavy on the nose Imo.Very coconut, with vanilla. Cant stress that enough, coconut and vanilla.Love it so much, perfect for summer. Wish I could get a big bottle of this one though because it goes QUICK.
