First of all I was bummed to think I'm going to have to go on a junk yard trip to try to find a bumper for my truck in good enough condition to replace the one I have. My wife suggested I just take a glance at Amazon to see if I could find one there and see how much it would cost. I looked it up and sure enough found one. I was skeptical because the price was more than reasonable so I ordered it. A few days later I was amazed to receive this bumper professionally wrapped with every fitting I needed as well the wiring for the lights done so all I had to do was plug it in. Everything so nicely packaged and simplified I was completely amazed at how thorough this company had been. The time and money I saved by this purchase has left me completely grateful that a company took the time and effort to send a quality product at an affordable price, something that just doesn't happen often enough in this day and age. The bumper it's self is a great replacement bumper. the problem I had is it says that it will fit the 2500 HD models My guess is the 1500s are a little different than the HD frames. So when you mount these to the HD frame your bumper hangs down 4 to 6 inches lower than it should. I added pictures to show the difference between the two brackets. The HD brackets go straight out and the brackets that are provided drop down. So look at the description better than I did. It says it will not fit HD models even though Amazon says it does.

All around this is a good replacement. Fit well, looks good. The only problem I ran into was there no predrilled port for the trailer lights adaptor. It was my mistake I should’ve looked closer to the details. I don’t have a spare tire hence no need for the port on the right which I modified slightly with a file to fit my trailers light plug

This is a great looking bumper that we put on my buddies beat up GMC 1500. We talked him into black as the chrome would have looked WAY TOO NEW. He is very pleased with his new bumper and so are we. The installation wasn't bad at at. We had to tweak the holes a little bit and leave the mounts loose until all the bolts were installed as the alignment was off just a touch. No big deal whatsoever. I highly recommend this bumper.

I recently purchase this bumper for my 2004 GMC Yukon without realizing that this is for a Sierra or Silverado and it didn’t fit, but I was impressed by the quality of this bumper and how it looked and how well it was packaged . I had to return it but definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice bumper for their Silverado/Sierra.

Make sure to save your old plastic covers... You can clean them up and paint them with plastic spray paint... Bumper arrived with all but 2 of the plastic clips busted off, so they are useless... Thankfully I can dress up the originals to look nice... The bumper comes complete with the brackets, reinforcement bar, and hardware, which is pretty cool... I guess for the price I should have realized the metal was going to be half the thickness of the original... I'm going to rust proof the whole thing best I can, and see how long she lasts... It's almost worth buying 1 every 2 or 3 years for the price, anyway...

Title for this product is misleading for what truck models this bumper actually fits which causes Amazon to falsely approve that this part will fit a 2500 HD. Product material is not as sturdy as a stock bumper in case you think you are getting the same quality. If you want to reach out with concerns, seller’s contact information does not work. You will have to pay shipping if you wish to return this product.

I'm putting this on a 2002 sierra, I was amazed even licence plate lights came, the plastic cover. What a nice aftermarket product!

Found it to be on light side. Will not withstand a medium bump.
