My partner isn't a chocolate lover so trying to find a reasonably priced unusual calendar isn't easy.This advent calendar is brilliant. Very well made, easy to assemble and my partner was over the moon with it.The calendar isn't assembled when it arrives so be aware of this if it is a gift.The fact that a tree is also planted for each one sold is a massive bonus!Great purchase. Very impressed! Oh, and the sweets are lovely too!

Whilst the setup time took 10 minutes, it was worth it for the daily yummy sweets!Pros:- Candy kittens tasty as ever- Cardboard, so less plastic than most calendars- Cute messages on each box- Easy to follow assembly instructionsCons:- Not much variety in treats, only 4 different types- When most of the boxes are removed, "tree" can look a bit emptyOverall a great alternative advent calendar, a nice change from the usual rectangular grid!

My daughter loved this. It was a little tough to put together - you have to make the tree and then the individual boxes which need folding and fastening, but once it was done it looked brilliant. Absolutely loved the sweets.

I purchased this as a present and it was only after I gave it to my daughter that I realised I was missing a bag of sweets. I did think it odd when assembling the item that I didn’t have excess sweets as they claimed I would. I noticed that a bag was missing when I was disposing of the packaging and on the back it states we should’ve had 5 flavours and we only had 4. I’m unable to contact the seller, the option does not appear to be available to me so I’m hoping they will see this review and contact me instead. If we had received all 5 bags of sweets I would’ve given the item 5 stars as it’s very cute and my daughter loved it.

Whoever says it’s hard to assemble don’t believe them. Took me less than 2 minutes to get the main part done. Boxes are easy also there’s just more of them! Sweets are delicious and came packaged lovely. There are also so many spare and easily enough for 2 per box. Absolutely would recommend and buy again! Thank you Candy Kittens!!

Once you've spent some time fiddling about to build the tree and each ofnthe boxes, and then filling each of the boxes with sweeties (provided in large bags) andnthen put it all together, its actually rather lovely!The boxes seem to flimsy to be used next year, but perhaps with care taken andnthe sweeties wrapped up so they dont ooze it may be possible.

I had been looking forward to this so much, however, on arrival, my disappointment couldn’t have been greater. Instead of this coming filled and preassembled, as advent calendars usually do, this is a build it yourself project that has just a small selection of the flavours thrown into sealed bags. At first I thought that I could still give this away as a present, as there’s no point really in using it myself if I have to assemble and fill the boxes myself, then however I noticed that the candies aren’t individually wrapped, meaning that you’d have to handle each and every single one of them, which would not really make this a hygienic gift to give to someone. Given how many different flavours of Candy Kittens there are, it’s especially insulting that there are so few flavours included in this advent calendar. This is one of the worst things I have ever bought.
