Total pain but worth it
I’ve already installed two of these lifts in my 24” cabinets, so I was familiar with the assembly. This is good experience because the instructions are useless.I did modify this installation. I installed this shelf lift in a 30” wide IKEA AKURUM cabinet, over an LG Studio microwave. I had to modify it to create enough of a gap to clear the microwave. I did this by disassembling the shelf sides from the hinge and drilling new hinge mount holes 1” rear of the the original holes. When I did this, it interfered with the shelf holes in the back, so I drilled a new set of holes for the shelf, too. It clears the microwave perfectly. The other problem with this lift in the IKEA AKURUM cabinet is putting the doors back in once the lift is installed. It’s important to get it completely installed and spaced first, loosen the brackets on each side, sliding the assembly all the way over to make room, attaching the door, then repeat for the other side. Realign to original installation points and it should all just *barely* fit.I didn’t use the screws provided for the inside cabinet (template holes). They are very short. I used sturdier screws for my project. My steps.1. Modify hinges if needed. Test fit to ensure doors will close and proper clearance achieved.2. Mark template holes and pre-drill3. Secure spring hinge unit tightly to cabinet, verifying all clearance before final torque.4. Loosen spacer screws on top of hinge (narrow slots) and adjust to fit cross member brace.5. Install brace and then retighten spacer screws, ensuring even gap between cabinet and hinge6. Remove two screws on lower front of hinge and place support bracket. Screw down. Drill pilot hole for bottom. Screw down.7. Install shelves8. Install handle9. If clearance for door hinges a problem, remove lower screws from lower front brackets and loosen top spacers again.10. Slide assembly to one side, install door. Repeat for other side.11. Reposition to align bracket and replace screws. Tighten spacer screws. It may be possible to install with doors on, but you need two people for this install and the doors get in the way.

Sizing
The unit fit into the cabinet except for one horizontal support rod that was almost an inch too long. It is odd since the shelves, grab bar, and rear hormonal supports fit perfectly. The unit appears to be stable enough without it.

Solid quality
Makes it so easy to bring the contents of the cabinet down within reach. The different weight settings are great too. We used them above our washer and dryer and they work great! Highly recommend.

Very nice
The reason I gave it only three stars, it’s not for the unit , it’s for the vendor.. The units are great, was easy to install and looks good.. As for the vendor, they tried to pull a fast one .. we bought three units. Returned the more expensive one, but vendor refunded us for the less expensive one. Took over three weeks to get the refund then trying to refund the lesser amount.. After numerous correspondence with them, we finally got the right amount back… Will not buy from that vendor again. Don’t need that headache …

Well made my client loves it!
The media could not be loaded. Our client has arthritis and with this system it is easy for her to reach groceries with minimum effort.Hardware comes carefully packed A+It’s easy to install (no need to use the template). Just consider that it doesn’t interfere with the door hinges and that you leave a little bit of clearance between the hardware and the bottom border of the cabinet for when you pull it down.

Shop Around - This is Still One of the Best Options
I spent a long time looking for various pull downs. I looked at products from Richelieu, Rev-A-Shelf, and Hafele. A lot of these units are several times more expensive than HEEPOR. I'm in the process of remodeling my entire kitchen and the budget is what it is.Positives about HEEPOR:-Multiple sizes. I have a mix of 24", 30", 33", and 36" cabinets. If HEEPOR made a size in between 30 and 36, I'd probably pick it up too. Additionally, the adjustable mounts help ease mounting anxiety by giving you some play in making sure you're attached securely to the interior walls while able to fine tune the alignment.-Choice of straight aluminum or tempered glass. The glass is removal so you can wash it with soap and water as needed.-Fit and finish: Maybe there are fancier products out there. Maybe there are products that use thicker gauge materials. Maybe they all cost quite a bit more. Once installed, I did not get the sense that this was an 'unstable' unit. It feels solid through the pull action and return. I'm looking forward to loading this up once the kitchen is complete.Areas of improvement:-Installation instructions: The installation instructions are on a QR code that's included with the unit. You use your Amazon app to scan it and it will bring you to the video. The most important thing about the video is the visualization because the instructions on which screws go where is extremely brief and are not very helpful. That being said there are 4 types of screws that come in the packet: wood screws for mounting the mechanism to the cabinet, large screws for the pull handle, medium sized screws for the brace in the back-middle of the unit, and small screws for the trays. Put them in their own piles and you should be good to go. Additionally there seems to be a second video that shows two people assembling the unit which might help others with the visualization.-Installation actual: The easiest installation (that is also referenced in the video) is for non-frame cabinets whose doors are not restricted on either side by a wall or other obstacle. The video wants you to assemble the unit first then place it inside the cabinet and mount it afterwards. However, my cabinets (which are Parriots) do have frames and would not allow the whole unit to fit installed first (even if I tried to place it in at an angle). That means I had to install the mounts inside the cabinet first AND I would have to fight against the tension in the arms when installing the trays. There is an advantage to this, however. If you install the mounts first you can do the width alignment adjustment while the mounts are secure rather than trying to get the width right and having to hold the unit in a pulled down position. On my 24" cabinet that could open both sides, this was the easiest install. My 36" cabinets were a whole different affair. One door butts up against a wall so I did not have access to screw the trays or braces once the mounts were installed in the cabinet. What I ended up doing was attaching the trays and braces to one of the arms prior to putting it in the cabinet. This requires bracing to temporarily hold the trays in alignment (which I improvised from some of the packing material - see pictures). Installing the mount while it is attached on one side to the trays is a job best done with two people but I did it alone with a some more improvised support under the pull arm. Install the second mechanism on the opposite cabinet wall and line up the arms and attach them to the trays and braces. The hardest part was keeping the trays supported in their suspended position. The second hardest part was fighting the tension on the arm while installing the mechanism.-Instructions on the unit about "locking": intuitively, when I read the bold font on the turn nobs, I thought "oh, this is how I lock the unit when I pull it down". This is absolutely not that. The nobs are there to adjust counter-weight for when you load items on the trays (to make it easier to let the unit return back in the cabinet). BE CAREFUL - apparently twisting the nobs when the unit is down can mess with the mechanism inside. What I've learned: if you hold the pull down for a few seconds, you'll hear a faint hiss. Once you let go the unit will stay in place until you apply some pressure for it to return back into the cabinet.Final assessment:I'm pretty satisfied with the product thus far, regardless of the installation challenges. In an ideal world we would have product planning that accounted for all sorts of various cabinet setups. From what I've seen, cabinet pull downs is a part of the kitchen accessory market that can afford to see more options, but it might still be a niche product. At least HEEPOR gives me several width options while also allowing for minor width variance. I'm also looking at options to mount dishes for one of the trays (again, opportunity for HEEPOR to add additional customization to their product by offering organizers). One last thing: the back of the unit towards the bottom kept bumping into the back of the cabinet creating a tapping noise. It wasn't a big deal, but it did annoy me a little. I took two extra silicon bumpers that go on the cabinet doors and put one each on the bottom 1/4" of the back framing of the pull down. That made the action of the pull down completely silent going back into the cabinet. Certainly a satisfying touch.
