A great book for a great workout with resistance bands
A new year and new determination. I wanted a way to help tone my severely neglected body, but weights weren't practical. I needed something simple that I can do at home or at work. I have the Kindle edition and I like it. I can view it from my desk while at work, or take with me when I travel. There is a page reference in the index to the exercises, which is nice. There are a good variety of exercises which help keep the routine interesting or find something that works for space you have to exercise. There are some exercises that require anchor points. This book has great photos of the exercises to ensure you are doing them properly for best results.I received this free or virtually so for product testing and review. I am under no obligation to provide a positive review and receive no incentives or rewards for doing so. My aim is to highlight features and drawbacks that I would want to know about as a buyer, not hype the product for the manufacturer. My remarks are sincere and my own. I work very hard trying to write insightful and thoughtful reviews for each item. My hope is that these reviews are helpful to others. Please let me know how I am doing by voting “Yes” if you think that my review helped you. If it did not, please comment with how I can improve; this helps me to be a better reviewer. While it is true that many items are received at discounted rates or complimentary, my reviews are completely honest and are my personal experiences with the product. Again, it is just my opinion, your own opinion might vary. I received no monetary compensation and not required to give a good review. Good source for basic information.
I liked this book but did not find enough in it that was unique to warrant more than 3 stars.Pros: Gave examples with pictures for exercises that worked all different parts of the body. Suggest which type of resistance band would work best with each exercise (tube with handles or flat). Had a nice balance of exercises that required anchoring the band and those that did not need an anchor. Exercises were organized by area of focus in the back of the book.Cons: Exercises were basic and most can be found on various Pinterest boards. Each exercise was standalone, there were no groupings or suggested pairings on how to get the most out of your workout - all that was given was the suggestion to do either a combination of 3 (10 minutes), 6 (20 minutes) or 8 (30 minutes) moves, that seemed to be more about your time budget than a balanced workout.I gave this one 3 stars as it is nice to have all of the exercises in one handy reference for direction and form correction but it was lacking in the 'how to get the most bang for your buck' department. What would have been really nice would be a 'here's how we combine the moves' section. I understand that this book was not meant to be the end all-be all of resistance band training but it could have been so much more than it is.**This book was either free or discounted at the time I purchased it but the opinions in this review are my own.**

I'm quite pleased. If you have a tablet I recommend the ...
I was looking for some simple exercises I could do at home or in a hotel room with focus on specific body areas that I knew needed work. After reading a bunch of reviews of other similar books... and there are a lot of them... I decided to try this one. I'm quite pleased. If you have a tablet I recommend the Kindle edition for several reasons, not the least of which is that it is significantly cheaper! It is also handy to lay it on the floor next to me and to be able to bookmark the workout I want. Also, as stated in other reviews, the paper edition does not have a page reference from the index to the exercises. The Kindle edition has hot links so that is not a problem. While it is short, there is a good selection of different exercises for each area of the body... sufficient that if one is too difficult or boring or not suitable for the space you are in... another can be used. While many exercises are shown using tubing, I have found that most can also be done with bands even though tubing is shown. Many do require anchor points. The illustrations show one way of doing this. (I do not suggest using door handles.). There are several inexpensive door anchor straps available here on Amazon that can be used for bands or tubing. The instructions with those show how best to use them.

Great illustrations, but only flat and handled resistance bands (NOT FOR LOOP RESISTANCE BANDS)!
I was very disappointed in this book because from the front cover, I had assumed that this would cover exercises with looped resistance bands (of which I have 2 different sets). I have been looking for some good exercises to do with resistance bands because I fight daily fatigue and I need exercises that I can cater to my fatigue level on a given day, while still getting my exercises in. This book is well written, has well illustrated pictures and explanations of each exercise, has a complete body workout of exercises, however each one uses either a resistance band with handles, or an open flat resistance band. I am going to take the time to see if I can modify the moves to fit the loop resistance bands I have, but for now, this will just be a disappointment. If I cannot fit the exercises to my bands I'll need to either replace my bands or get a different book.I was given the opportunity to download this book at a discount for my honest review.

Not Bad
Very beginner moves could be better. That’s not much of muscle building exercises. More for yoga types. They need a more intense workout set of instructions.

It's ok. Not brilliant
Doesn't give a workout routine at all, just the exercises. Which are pretty standard. It's ok. Prefer something that gives routines or plans. This had neither.
