Worth Every Cent!!
Expensive!! It definitely fits under the category "You get what you pay for". You can find cheaper brands but you won't find the quality. Cheaper ones are soft but edges stick up and easy to trip on. This one wipes clean, keeps it spring, and is s-o-oo comfortable to stand on all the hours spent in kitchen doing dishes or cooking at the stove. Your feet and legs will love you for it. It does not discolor your flooring like some rugs and stays in place. I have a smaller one in front of my stove that I've had 8 Years and still looks the same as first day.

Very nice long floor mat.
I bought this mat for my kitchen. When standing for a long time on a tile floor can be hard on your legs and back, this mat is so soft and comfortable for that. It has slip resistance and it is about a1 1/2" thick. It is about 5' and I picked the brown color. It is easy to clean with a little gentle soap on stubborn stains but be sure to rinse immediately so not to ruin the mat. But you can clean easily with only plain water. If you get crumbs or dirt on it, do not use a vacuum cleaner, sweep, or wipe clean. It fits perfectly and looks great.

What does "buoyant core" mean?
This should have been described as either "open" or "closed" polyurethane foam. If you do not want a foam matt then do not buy this. I was looking for something with a little strength, but this is simply foam rubber as far as I am concerned. When you squeeze it you will get the impression that it is filled with air. I suppose this is the buoyant core they refer to in the advertisement. I really hope I didn't pay $130.00 for a few cubic inches of buoyant air. I really hate being cheated like this. I guess if you really want polyurethane you should buy it from a polyurethane manufacturer, not somebody who is willing to deceive you out of your money.

A BACK SAVER for me and therefore WORTH the $$$
This is my second mat after buying one three months ago for in front of the sink which I decided to leave in place. I really needed one for the prep area where I stand the most amount of time. As for the logo, I found the logo on mine in a minute or less but it is fairly discreet since it is embossed (and without a contrast color thank goodness). If you place it in the upper right hand corner it does go under the cabinet over-hang making it less noticeable. I bought the smooth gray without a pattern imprint (less cleaning in crevices) and put a rug I like over each of them so they blend in with the lighter color floor tile. The rugs need a small tug to reposition daily but I don't mind since they can be thrown in the wash and best of all, besides blending in better, it keeps the mat clean and spot free!! I will say I've prepped 25LBS!! of hot chili peppers over the course of 2 days and I know for a FACT my back would NOT feel as good as it does had I not had these mats. They are pricey but if you keep an eye open I bought my 3' x 2' for $99+tx and I've seen them for $120.00 or more. I've stood on cheaper and that is exactly what they are - cheaper and my back has hurt for years! I wish I would have bought these long ago and I hope you love yours as much as I do mine.

So CUSHY!
These are quality mats and are so cushy to stand on. I LOVE them. Why the 4* rating? If you come in from outside and walk directly on the mats (you do not wipe your feet before coming in)they will leave a dusty outline of the bottom of your shoe. It doesn't affect the mat in any way other than it doesn't look very nice, thus the rating. A quick sweep removes them! For others who commented on the "Wellness" logo imprinted on the mat, it is not very big in relation to the size of the mat (I bought 2-6x2 brown mats)and really isn't offensive in any way, IMO. Others referred to a MAXUM logo in the middle of the mat. That indeed sounds more industrial. Mine had a very small logo in the upper right-hand corner that says "wellness". The color works well in my kitchen and looks so much better and cleaner than a rug, or the other mat that sells at BB&B. Wonderful product!

Have had this over 11 years and still good as when it was new!
I bought this for my mom in Nov 2013 and it’s still as good as new and so so nice. I got a cheap one of a different brand that only lasted a couple years. This brand was a great investment!

great for a standing desk
I switched over to a standing desk for my back and within hours had sore feet so terrible that I ordered this mat. Great mat! It really takes the pressure off while standing in one spot (though I still try to walk around every 20 minutes or at least shuffle around a little to break up some tension.) I've also used the mat for doing very low-intensity workouts on. I have downstairs neighbors and it cushions the noise of *light* workouts just enough that I am, hopefully, not driving anybody crazy -- at least until the winter is over and I can get back outdoors more.I ordered the black one because it was cheapest. It's not particularly attractive; it reminds me of the old mats grocery stores had to open doors (does anybody else remember the SNL skit where the guy made shoe inserts out of the mats and they opened doors and cabinets for him all over town?). Someone else mentioned the logo on their mat being too large. Those kinds of things bother me too, but it is barely noticeable on this one to me. Maybe they made some changes or maybe the black mats don't show the logo as much.
