Very useful
I love these lanterns. They hold a charge for a very long time and are super bright which lights up a large area. I love how they are magnetic, which makes them very useful inside on the outside of my horse trailer when not hooked up. My second purchase of these so I have some in my house also for when power might go out

The nicest pop up lanterns
These are my favorite pop up lanterns. So versatile and compact enough to take anywhere. Living in the country one never knows when the electrical grid will fail do to storms or black outs. Having a half dozen lights throughout the house solves night time lighting problems. I never leave home without at least one or two of these lights in my car. I don't know how long they will burn in the night if left on however if you want security having extra batteries is always a smart move.

Good little lights
When I first bought these I did a burn test on them to see how long they would stay lit. I did it indoors and they had several hours of being pretty bright. This past spring, I took them outdoors and did an extreme weather test. On one day the temperatures were below freezing and snowing, on another day it was in the 40’s and torrential rain. Here’s what I found out. The extreme cold drains the rechargeable batteries in about two hours to the point of being really dim and pretty much useless. The other thing I found out is they are not waterproof. The good news is that the lights all survived once they dried out. The other thing is, if you put alkaline batteries in them, you get a longer burn time. If you’re going to use them indoors and out of severe weather, these are great. If you plan to use the outdoors, keep them dry and you may want to use alkaline batteries. Overall, well worth the price and they are really bright.

Would be very handy during a power outage
like in a hurricane! We has an older (more costly) similar product that needed replaced; it was a cobb led only and fewer lumens. This product is very bright (cobb led), has a flashlight feature, and two emergency red flasher modes. The only negative is NO INSTRUCTIONS. Of course, that is not needed to install 3 AA batteries that seems to allow all functions to work. The confusion is... there is a USB cable connector for charging. When connected to a power source, a red LED near the flashlight switch comes on, and after about 3 hours it turns green. The flashlight function seems brighter once this charging is done. The confusion is... just what does the chargeable battery supply or supplement? For sure, the USB cable is not charging the alkaline batteries in the base. Are the cobb Led and the flashlight using TWO separate power sources, or a combination supply?

Excellent design and quality lighting.
I use these fairly often when we have lighting issues (Florida), but also when needing an extra focus beam. These are well made and have served there purpose. Happy with the purchase.

Provides the light when you need it
Got these after the electricity went out briefly and we found just about all of our battery powered lanterns, flashlights, etc., were dead. Electric outages are not a problem for us as they are brief if they happen, but you can need alternatives to electric lights. Ordered these after some research. Sturdy, versatile and good price. Lantern style so they can provide light for an entire room. Four came in the order so we keep them in several rooms around the house. Would order again.
