I purchased this particular wood burning kit after doing research online for the ratings on wood burning kits. This item was a gift to our oldest son who has become an avid wood carver and was really wanting a top quality wood burning kit. He has been thrilled with every aspect of this kit and is very happy with how easy it is to use. We feel the value for the money was well worth it.

Works great. Still learning controls but easy enough to do. Pens do get hot towards the end of handle, but still a good hold a little ways up. I am very happy with it and good price too.

I bought this in 2022 and have used it occasionally. I just used the other day and when I went to plug it in, the motor part of the burner doesn't turn on? Is it possible to get a new motor only?

This was my first burner that wasn’t a single pen. I love the option of switching back and forth between 2 tips without having to change out the tips. Unfortunately after 6 months it died, I was so bummed but decided to email the company. Talk about amazing customer service. They sent me a new burner no questions asked. I highly recommend!

It was good other than almost burning down my house do I need to be some kind of guards on the parts that gets hot

I've been using the other kind of burn pen for a few years and kept telling myself I'd get one like this when I had the money (in town they're like over $100 for just 1 pen). Well then I saw this and had to get it. It's wonderful!There is a little bit of a learning curve but a test piece always helps you get the hang of a new device. The burn work is so much more smooth than the other type of pen with the solid tips instead of wire. Burning any words or writing is a lot easier too!

*** Update *** After posting a one star review (below) the seller worked with me to resolve the issue. Fully satisfied now. After less than a year and very little use there is no longer any temperature control. Turns on full heat and that is it. Both pens.
