It didn't fit in the VCR at first, it has to be nudged to one side when it is almost in the player in order for the spindle holes to fit in the player and for the player to accept the tape.

VCRs are mostly extinct, but if you are one of those who still have one, getting a head cleaner is important to keep the thing running (assuming you ever intend to watch movies on it) and keep it from chewing up your tapes. I have some tapes (like the original Star Wars movies and The Godfather Saga (the movies in chronological order) that I like to watch from time to time that will likely never be released on DVD and would be very hard (if not impossible) to replace on VHS. So, this works well to keep the thing in working condition.

I still have a VHS player because I kept my VHS collection. Reshow VCR Head Cleaner safely cleans the heads of my VHS player so I can get the best possible picture. They use a dry cleaning technology that is better for the machine and tapes and you don't need to buy the liquid cleaning fluid. It is very easy it use. All you do is put it in your machine and press play. Count for 20 or 30 seconds and rewind and eject. It will remove dirt, dust, and whatever else has builtup inside your machine. The product is good for 30 uses.

Bought this for to clean an older VHS player for a digitizing product. The original picture was ok but there was some discolorization, so I figured I'd pick up a cleaner. I was intrigued by the "dry technology" so I got his one based on star rating. It not only didn't work, but now both the original VCR and a second one I tried are virtually unplayable. Considerably worse picture than before using the cleaner. Will be buying a regular liquid-based cleaner and throwing this one in the garbabe.

I got this to clean my VSH player and so far ok

This product does not function. Press Play and the tape does not advance for 30 sec. It jams and shuts the player off after 8 sec. I have an old Scotch VHS Head Cleaner tape well beyond it's time that works better. I would appreciate a refund.

Avevo pulito le testine con soluzioni idonee, aprendo naturalmente il video-registratore, ma la condizione delle immagini sono migliorate visibilmente dopo l'uso della cassetta. Quindi ottima soluzione e rapida pulizia.
