Imperial Barber Glycerin Soap, 6.2 oz

I give it three stars as a shave soap, but FIVE stars as a face soap! Best face cleaner ever. Shrinks pores (and cleans them), leaves skin soft, no scent. My go-to facial cleanser for life. Disclaimer: I'm a woman, so it was my legs I was lathering, and it took forever to get even a think lather, and the slip was not slippy enough. But also, as a woman, I have an a$$load of cosmetic facial products, and have spent tons of money on them, and this beats it all. Guys, if you use this for shave and face and don't like it, give it to wives and girlfriends and see if they like it on their face.

It gives a good shave, and one bar will last for many months of use every day. The ingredients are 100 percent natural and plant based (e.g. palm oil). That is important, because you don't want anything artificial getting absorbed into your pores.

It's a large size bar, should last a long time.Works great for shaving, no irritation.Will buy again.

I use to be a frequent customer of the individual's who created the brand. I can say that the pride they take in their barbershop and how they cut hair transfers over to their Imperial products. I love how I'm able to use the soap in place of shaving cream and not have to worry about it drying my face out. Has lasted a good while too.

Used as a shaving soap, it's just okay. It's a nice size but lacks a good lather and lubricant.

The packaging claims, "no residue," however in actuality this soap leaves A TON OF RESIDUE! There is a chalky white residue all over my skin after bathing, in my nail-cuticles after hand-washing, on drinking glass after washing & rinsing. There is a "squeaky clean" feeling after use, but I will NOT use this soap anymore due to the considerable RESIDUE it leaves. I'm sticking with my 30-year staple of DOVE SOAP. The Imperial Barber's soap is also very expensive, compared with Dove Soap.
