This is a wonderful weaving book - the instructions are very clear & easy to follow & the pictures make it very easy to understand the steps. There is a great selection of projects - this book is wonderful for the beginning weaver -

Item arrived way above expected/quoted time frame in as new condition. The content was amazing with clear concise instructions and pictures as well as diagrams to aid in projects. All projects were colorful but not tacky, useful and/or decorative. I highly recommend this to any weavers looking to expand their library or to any beginning weaver looking to begin.

This is a great book for beginner weavers. There are 25 projects, most of which are various styles of wall hangings featuring different stitches and techniques as well as interesting ideas for adding texture, dimension, negative/open space and bling (like beads and lace). There are also a few other non-wall hangings like placemats, coasters and eyeglass cases and some projects where weavings are applied to other pieces - like tote bags and pillows. Beginner weavers looking for patterns and specific instructions will find it easy to follow the colored graphs and step-by-step instructions for each project and more advanced weavers will find inspiration in the wide array of styles and techniques.

This book really helped me learn various techniques for my weaving and that is what I wanted to do for my first weaving. It is so fun working on my weaving and I can't wait to do another.

There are several projects I will definitely be trying out. The instructions are pretty straightforward.

Laura Strutt did an outstanding job with her new book. She absolutely makes weaving such an easy and enjoyable experience. Her projects are top notch & the instructors are very clear. This book is great for both complete beginners and intermediates alike. There are projects for everyone! Truly one you want to have in your library, that you’ll come back to time & time again.

I liked it for instructions on stitches and ideas. But I wasn’t able to follow the patterns.

This is a very useful book foe beginners. It has some good projects in it to get yoy going amd explains things well, simply and easy to understand.

Extremely useful book. Very informative and simple to understand

I love the fact that the author has gathered the weaving techniques at the beginning of her book since I am not big at all on books that teach a technique in a project. Practising is important especially to keep your edges straight and consistent. I like the fact that you have both written explanations and a chart. As for me, the projects are not modern at all ( not a problem for me since I did not buy the book for the projects) and the author is far from being a good weaver ... she lacks technique for sure: wonky edges and the way she finishes the projects is really awful especially the way she attaches the wall hanging to a rod.

I just received this book but it is exactly what I was looking for. They have colored pictures which makes the basic instructions easy to follow especially for beginners like me.

Easy to follow instruction and suggestions for tapestry loom weaving. As a beginner I loved the lay out and suggestions. Wonderful
