Holuns Date Vision Depuis 1899
The Holuns Date Vision Depuis 1899 watch is such a pleasant surprise for the price! The attention to detail on this watch is really amazing, and even comparing this in terms of looks to it’s obvious luxury brand inspiration has me stunned! Having handled a real Date Just (jealously) I’ve always wanted one but the price tag is a big deter for me. Thankfully I found this Holuns Date Vision! First thing you notice is the premium looking packaging, which is a nice faux leather gift box with soft padded beige lining. The top of the box has a metallic gold logo that adds to the premium look. Inside the box was a warranty card and instructions on how do remove the links as well as a tool to assist with that! The watch itself is BEAUTIFUL. I got the gold watch. The face of the watch is where the majority of the detail is! And I mean I have sat there staring at this just appreciating the little things that make this such a fun homage to its inspiration. The dial on the gold watch is champagne color with a bright sunburst effect which is very pleasing to look at. The markers are decorated with what appears to be faux diamonds, which I hate to use the word faux because these are not cheap looking costume jewels, they look great! The outer bezel is a smooth to touch but sharp looking fluted design. The Holuns logo is located at the very top at the 12 o’clock (right where it belongs 😉) and it looks beautifully subtle being gold on the champagne face. One thing I want to point out that I LOVE, is how the Holuns logo and name is laser etched on the inside of the bezel, which I captured in one of the images for you all! That is one of the things that shows how much attention they put into this watch! Another feature that should never be overlooked on a watch is the crystal! This is actual Sapphire! Sapphire is imo the best for watch crystals. It doesn’t scratch and is extremely durable as well as making the face as clear as if there was nothing covering it at all! Whenever looking for a new watch I always try to make sure it has a sapphire crystal! The band is another place that they really did a great job. The bracelet style is a jubilee (5 piece on each link) and allows for ease of movement and comfort, it also imo is very elegant looking. Another great detail that Holuns added was the sharp looking laser etching on the clasp as shown in my pictures! To remove the links can be confusing at first but once you get the hang it’s pretty easy. To safe you time, here’s a tip, the links connected to the clasp part need that special tool that Holuns provided. But the links further from it need a jewelers flat head screw driver. The moment is automatic mechanical. This means it does not operate on batteries which is a big plus for me! You simply set the watch, wind the watch, and wear it! It helps if you don’t wear it everyday to wind it every few days. If you wear it everyday, it will automatically wind with your wrist movements! To set the watch you unwind the crown to unlock and pull it gently halfway to set the date and then to set the time you pull the crown out all the way. One thing I could change about this watch is no doubt, the backing. The backing visually is so cool! It’s a skeleton back so you can see the movement! I love that, I really do, but the crystal that covers it protrudes so far from the casing of the watch it really can make it uncomfortable. The watch itself already feels like it weighs enough to be durable and expensive, so the protruding back definitely adds a little too much then I’d prefer. Despite that I don’t think that I should take off even 1 star because the rest of this watch is just impressive. One thing I will add, this is definitely a men’s size watch. The style is definitely unisex but imo the size actually leans towards the masculine side, not so much like some 40+mm watches but I believe this is approx 37-38 mm. The watches I usually wear are size 31 but I don’t mind the size on this so much, but I’m just putting this out there just in case you have small wrists. Overall I highly recommend this watch for anyone that wants a luxury look without paying luxury prices! It looks great, feels sturdy and expensive, and has some of the best attention to details that give it looks that far exceed the price tag!

Excellent
Very beautiful watch , quality of something as a fossil . Good in weight and is an eye catcher . All though everything is a little smaller then expected from the photo . But in my opinion it’s a perfect size .

This is a GREAT watch! BUT...
I am extremely impressed with the build quality and looks of this watch. The night before I got mine, I got to see a real Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust (which this watch is inspired by) and I can confirm that this looks nearly identical. It is an absolutely beautiful watch. It is a very "ethereal elegant" design if that's your thing. The attention to detail is amazing and if you are a sucker for detail and craftsmanship, this is a huge bargain for the money. The metals are very high quality and the "gold" looks real and not chinsy or cheap at all. Feels real too. The lume on the hands and indices are very high quality and glow very well in the dark. This is actually a feature that a real Datejust like this one doesn't have. The watch is quite heavy, and feels good in hand. The movement is very quiet and so far seems extremely high quality. The index diamonds look real, too. I believe they may actually be cubic zirconia lab-grown diamonds but I'm not sure. Based on looks, quality, and functionality, I would rate this a 10/10, no joke. However, please read on. It is worth mentioning that the title of this product does not include the diameter of the watch (watch size), and I assumed it was 42mm, like my other sub and GMT style watches. This watch is actually a 36-38mm. It is quite small. In the fourth photo I included a US Quarter and a Matchbox car for size comparison. So please be mindful of that before you purchase. This won't look weird on your wrist, since a real Datejust is also 36mm and is sold as a men's watch, but both men and women can wear this no problem. The main issue with this watch is the size. DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH IF YOU HAVE TINY WRISTS. Even though the watch is small, it may seem appealing to anyone who has small wrists, but unfortunately I found out the hard way that if you have small wrists, it is too big. After taking nearly all of the removable links out, the permanent "non-removable" links could fit all the way around my wrist WITHOUT the clasp. The last image shows what I mean. But, if you have larger wrists or a "normal" size wrist (whatever that means) then you should be fine, since this band is quite large. I would recommend taking this to a jeweler or watch shop to resize the band as the links are very hard to get out with the removal tool included with the watch, which is a nice tool but won't do the job since it's plastic. Overall, I would recommend this watch but be careful with the size because it might be either too big for your wrist or look way too small on your wrist. Other than that, this watch is unbelievably nice!

Great looking watch BUT
I really liked the watch but it was very hard to operate. I broke 4 fingernails alone just trying pull the crown out to set the time and date. the band was another disappointment it was extremely hard to unlatch and latch but I guess that’s what you get from China

Smaller than expected. 36MM. Not 38MM.
UPDATE: I ended up returning my watch. The automatic watch function wasn't very reliable on mine. It stopped ticking a couple of times. I'd have to tap it to get it going again. Also, the mechanism to wind the watch, change the date, and change the time wasn't very reliable. I ended up buying an Invicta quartz watch on Amazon that looks very similar to this one. The Invicta has a bigger case at 43mm and I really like it. * * * * The first thing I noticed when I received the watch is how small it looked. The description says the case width is 38MM, but I measured it with a tape measurer and it was around 37MM. A guy on youtube used a precise measurement tool and it showed the case width (not including the crown) at 36.4MM. If you're a big guy or you have thick wrists the watch will look small by today's standards. I still like the watch. There were some areas on the bracelet where the gold plating wasn't perfect, but I understand that this is a Rolex copy. I removed at least 4 links from the bracelet so it would fit properly on my wrist. This is my first automatic watch, so I'll see how it goes, but I like the idea of not having to ever change a battery. I like the luminous hands and dots next to each hour. I don't think the Rolex version even has that. I bought the one with the silver dial and I think it looks great with the gold accents. The other one I really like is the one with the black dial. FYI, I bought a used version from Amazon that someone had returned. I paid about half of the price of a new version, so I can't really complain. I'm happy with it.
