Do you need a on board compressor to make it work?

No, you can adjust the air pressure manually with compressed air at a filling station and a simple tire pressure gauge. The valve for inflating / checking pressure needs to be installed in an accessible location near the rear of your vehicle.

Will this kit fit 2015 nissan altima?tx

I wouldn't buy this product. It said it would fit my 07 maxima and they were too short. There was no contact info to get the right set,so I over inflated them to raise the car because of my weak springs which worked for a some time until one blew out. They will do the job if you can get the correct set.

Will this fit 2017 Nissan maxima

Not sure, but they fit my 2015 Nissan Altima perfect. Really helped with my 20s
