Works great! If you have finely etched silver, you’ll probably want a liquid polish too and definitely a soft brush.

This polish foam has been my “go-to” for years. The applicator sponge works perfectly to get into all the nooks and crannies of your silver pieces (and it lasts!) the foam rinses clean and the end result is gorgeous. Highly recommend for jewelry, flatware, serveware…everything sterling.

Cleaning silver is a pain, but the reward is that it is silver and looks great. My process is to remove any excess tarnish first by using baking soda in a sink with boiling hot water; then i wrap the silver in aluminum foil and put it in the sink for about 15 to 20 minutes. I then remove the silver from the foil and use the Goddard's Silver Form to clean and polish the silver. Finally, I go over the silver with a polishing cloth to buff it to a shine. This is really a process, and it is a pain, but it produces a great result.

I’ve use many brands of silver polish over my lifetime and this is the best one ever. Easy to use. Cleans quickly and I don’t have to rub until my hands are numb! Excellent shine to the silver too. I’ll never use anything else again. Doesn’t have a noticeable smell. The sponge that comes with this is great quality and doesn’t tear or shed like other brands do.

I used to work at a high-end jeweler and this is what they used to polish the sterling silver. Works well - you should see results immediately. Use gloves as the polish will dry out your hands quickly. Make sure to dry the metal well. Do not go to the pool/beach/gym etc with silver jewelry on.

When I was a teen, polishing silver was my parents' go-to punishment for me...."You were out too late without calling - get the Hagarty and your grandmother's tea service!" Yesterday, I was staring at that same tea service with its layers of tarnish because I can't stand to polish. I got a slight repreive because I was out of my old product and after reading these great reviews, decided to try Goddards. Just like everyone said, it is fantastic! While polishing silver will never be a night of dancing with Hugh Jackman, the dreaded job went by MUCH more quickly and easily - and with miraculous results. The sponge that comes with it not only applies the product really well, but is remarkably sturdy. It doesn't look like it will disintigrate after a couple of uses. And it just took a pass or two for the really bad tarnish to go away rather than the non-stop elbow grease I had always been used to. It is really satisfying to find a product that not only does what it says, but exceeds my expectations. It is almost just as well mom didn't have this stuff around when I was a teen or I'd have gotten in a lot more trouble!

If you like to clean your silver jewellery and get fed up with that awful smelling dip, get this. It's an amazing product. You just put some on the sponge, add water, lather up and clean the jewellery then rinse, it's SO good. It was recommended to me by a friend who is very sceptical about new products like me, so I trusted her and knew it would be good.

Have been using this product for years but now increasingly difficult to source. Great to see it available on Amazon. It really is the easiest way to clean good silverware, the foam gets into the crevices and is easily rinsed off without leaving those awful white residues. Would heartily recommend !

As I bought it because I have been using it for years, it is as I expected: the best silver cleaner a tin the market world wide!

It worked well on jewellery that hadn't been cleaned in over 20 years. The tarnish lifted immediately.
