When you turn it on, it shows CO2 reading that are misleading, as they will change a lot during the next few minutes. Perhaps it should be displaying bars instead of number during that "worm-up" period.Also, blue LED backlit may not be the best color for night sleep, IMO. Amber would be preferable.
