its too big for my laptop but I have not noticed any new scratches or dents on my laptop.

It offers protection, but for me it is a bit slippy, and doesn't stay put when you open laptop. Possibly a tad too big for my large laptop.

OK for what i most wanted
Whilst the sleeve protects the laptop from dust and dirt, I am not too sure about the claim of being durable and shockproof. The sleeve is only a soft fabric with a foam interior rather than the strong moulded case I was expecting.
