Best Mobility Aid
This gait belt is one of the best inventions I've run across for helping my mobility challenged mother get around. Just putting it on her gives her confidence to move more because she knows I can grab the loops if she starts to fall. When she is having a bad day, I grab the belt and help her walk by taking some weight off her bad knee. When she is dizzy from one of her health problems, she feels safe because it has so many loops for me to grab. I use it to help her out of chairs, the car, the toilet, etc. Its very well made and people at the dialysis center are jealous of it. I love how easy the belt snaps on and off, too. Her other gait belt is the old fashioned one that you have to put through the buckle every time and adjust that way. This one can be adjusted, but once you have it at the size you like, it will stay that way. Mom is an extra large now and it fits with room to expand.

Quality Workmanship
Well-made, strong materials used on belt itself and all grip handles. The automobile seat belt type buckle provides a secure, yet quick release, fastener.

Lift belt with handles
I like the idea of this lift belt having handles. Might make it easier to grab a hold of. The quality seems good, but haven't needed to use it yet (thank God). I think it will work for helping my mom up. I first purchased one of those wider lift belts, but it didn't work because she is short-waisted with low breasts.

Caregiving made easier with this item. I love it!
My husband has Parkinson's Disease with Dementia. He is tall and very slender. This belt has taken a strain off my body. Using it when getting up and down, moving to the commode, bed, or walking from one room to another is so much easier. Turns even go smoother as it helps him follow my guide with the belt. It is well made, sturdy, and the handles are amazing.

Makes Transferring Very Easy
Just like the transfer belts used at the Rehab facility but with loops. This belt - and loops- has worked wonderfully in helping with mobility issues (standing, sitting, transferring from bed to wheelchair or wheelchair to car). It’s tricky because the belt has to be tight enough to help lift the person yet loose enough to not squeeze the patient when it inevitably slides up around the chest area. The longer length of the belt also lets us wrap the immobile left arm where we h the exceed length (sort of like a sling) to keep track of the arm when transferring the patient and keep it out of the way.

Looks and feels sturdy
Have not used it yet but it seems to be just what is needed to help avoid injury to both the patient and the caregiver

Better Gait Belt
Much easier and quicker to put on patient/client than traditional Gait Belt strap., uses clips instead of threading mechanism.. client feels more secure in it.

This was a great idea and probably works great
This was a great idea and probably works great, but only for someone who has few if any curves, ie, someone who is thin. On my mother, it was useless as it just slid up her body if we put it around her folded over belly. The instructions say not to put it around the chest, but the only place it would stay put was under her arms. Even then, it would loosen up so again it was fairly useless for our purposes. Back to the traditional gait belt!
