Perfect fit for toilet and doesn't slide around!
I usually don't write reviews but I felt it was necessary since I have been looking for a potty and or potty seat for my kids for some time now. I purchased two potties, a seat and a seat with a ladder. The potties were ok but not really working for my son. He has special needs and is four years old. The potty is a bit small for him so I wanted something to use on our toilet. The seat with the ladder was the worst purchase ever and I would not recommend those to anyone. They don't sit properly and pinched my daughters leg. Another seat we purchased was very small and moved around so much I thought they would fall off the toilet. I figured I would give this seat a try because many of the reviews were so positive and mentioned how it does not slip or move around. Well they were 100% right and it is worth every penny. I have an oblong seat and it fits perfect, doesn't move a bit. My son can sit on the seat, hold the sides and feels very comfortable with it. He even sits without me having to hold him in place and he does not freak out because he feels safe and secure. Another key point to make is the pee guard for him is the best. It is high enough so he doesn't pee all over and its not so obnoxious that my daughter can sit comfortably also. I can honestly say for anyone looking to buy a great seat and unsure which to pick this is the one. Seriously. And it even comes with a handy hook to put on the side of the toilet and you don't have to find a spot to stash the seat not to mention it is right there when you need it. I can't believe I am so passionate about a potty seat but those reading this will get it because you my friends are in the same boat as me haha.

Potty training success
We really like this seat for potty training. My child was not one of those done in 3 days success stories. Potty training in our home has been an ongoing process for over a month, it was gradual and slow. This seat was a great part of why we've finally had success. We originally started with a standalone potty but that didn't go very well. I think my child was getting distracted and wasn't connecting waste elimination with this plastic chair in the middle of the room. So we decided to get a toilet seat. This fisher price one fits great over the seat and is contoured so the child can sit comfortably. Once we fit the seat on the adult toilet my child finally started to make the connection to going pee and poo on the actual toilet. Initially my child would sit just sit on the potty for extended periods of time and this is where that comfortable contouring and dual handle/ back rest came in handy. There is no fear of falling in or getting angry red marks from sitting on a sharp rimmed seat for an extended period of time. The handle/ back rest is also really convenient and makes it easy to remove the seat and store it so the adult can use the toilet. All in all we have really liked this seat and it has been a huge part of our potty training success.

Sturdy, easy for 3 yo to take on/off, doesn't wobble or slip, easy to clean
Can't love this potty seat enough. We got it at the end of June when my 3 year old started taking potty training seriously. It's sturdy. She can put it on the toilet, then take it off when she's done and hang it on the hook on the side of the toilet! We clean it off by rinsing it in the shower and hanging it back up to air dry. And we'll clean it with a little cleaning product as often as we clean the big toilet.I bought it specifically so we could find something that doesn't wobble and scare her (our standard potty seat was too big for our potty and wouldn't sit right, so it wobbled and freaked her out) and this one worked wonderfully. The blueish handle is designed to secure it underneathe the toilet seat, which is possible on our toilet, but it's always too much of a bother for us. It stays put because of the grippy stuff on the bottom. So glad we found this. It's been 5 months and she's been fully potty trained for a while now! Also didn't notice it being used when we received it. No obvious signs of that, but I gave it a quick wipe down based on other reviews.

Well Pleased
I was torn between this potty seat and the Munchkin potty seat; the Munchkin has slightly better reviews, but it doesn’t have a backrest for a smaller child to lean against, so we went with this one.The back rest has been a very useful feature, as my 18-month-old daughter is taller and thin. I think the handles on the side combined with the back rest make her feel more secure, especially if she’s reading. My daughter hasn’t made any major messes, so the seat has been easy to clean, but I was concerned about all the nooks and crannies on the underside of the seat. Again, it’s been fine for me, but I wish there wasn’t so much going on down there that would need to be cleaned if there’s any splashing from the toilet upward.I was also tempted to purchase the Munchkin potty seat because it looks easier for a small child to lift off and place on the toilet themselves. My daughter occasionally can get this one off the hook, but since she’s only 18 months old, it will probably be easier by the time she’s two and going potty on her own. She’ll still need help placing it on the toilet because of how the handle works, but I guess it seems worth it to me to know the seat is firmly in place. Again, right now we remove the seat, but when she’s older it will stay put and this all probably won’t be an issue. We didn’t purchase the Munchkin because the handles stick out on the side, and we wanted the smallest possible seat for home and travel purposes. This seat will be fairly easy to pop in our suitcases for family vacation.Overall I’m pleased with this purchase based on our family’s needs.
