Good Emergency rations
Tasts like frosted mini wheat minus the frosted. The nutritional value is good. The air tight packaging inside the cardboard boxes is robust and well sealed just be sure to inspect the cardboard boxes for shipping and handling damage. This is a great value for the money and they can sit on your shelf for over 20 years easy purchase.

Emphasis on the "emergency food"
Recently I've bought a bunch of different "emergency food ration bars" like these and tested them. For the most part they taste like wheat with a tiny bit of sugar. Some have additional mild flavors like cinnamon, blueberries, lemon, or coconut. These bars however taste like a multivitamin if you were weird enough like me to chew a multivitamin instead of just swallow it with water. They're chalky and minerally without the slightest hint of sweetness or natural wheat flavor. I was surprised at how disappointed I was, because I had such low expectations to begin with.
