My favorite investment for exploring!!
Gets mistaken for a GoPro, great quality videos, easy settings, small enough to bring with me everywhere, mp4 files, holds 256gb (haven't tried higher), waterproof case is good (audio not very loud with case on but fine without a case or mic plugged in), cam battery runs( only for a couple to a few hours so good thing there's 2 and they charge fairly quickly even with a portable solar charger. It records in increments of ~13 mins nonstop recording (incase battery dies, you dont lose your entire journey; you only lose that one segment). I got a set of straps, etc from Luxbell and love the variety so makes the camera super fun. One thing to note is if you change out the battery and sd card at the same time, the camera forgets the datestamp you'd put in so go reset it or it'll default to 01/01/2023. The camera is definitely worth it. I've recommended it to several people. I use it for my YT channel and have had the camera 2 years now with no issues or malfunction.

Great Bundled Value - Easy To Get Started
This a great value. Being new to action style cameras, this is a great jumping off point. I tend to be hard on gear however, this has a solid protective housing for underwater use that I will use to protect the camera from me. I haven’t listened to the audio much, what I have heard hasn’t impressed me, but that’s not what I have purchased this for. I will replace all audio in important projects. It’s easy enough to capture the audio on a superior device and sync it Final Cut. This little thing shoots decent footage, there is some distortion on the sides but that’s expected with the wide angle lens which is fine for my purposes and it ships with a ton of mounting gadgets to get you started. Helmet mount, clip, cold shoe mount etc. you can’t beat the current price.

Easy to use, affordable, quality results
Used this on an international trip that included zip lining and snorkeling. It worked perfectly for both. The quality of the videos and images is great. The case and various mounting options were able to accommodate all of our situations, including helmet mounting for zip lining. For regular use, I added a small tripod/selfie-stick combo that made it even easier to carry and work with.Just two challenges I need to work around.1. Functions are touchscreen, so when it's in the hard case there are limits to what can be done.2. Mine seemed to reset to the default timestamp frequently. I think if you keep the spare battery ready and are efficient with changing it out, you can avoid this. Didn't realize the issue until I uploaded my first batch into my Google photos account and saw things out of chronological order.

Works as advertised
Good action cam but with a few caveatsI've been using the Action Cam for a few months now, and I've been mostly happy with it. It's a great little camera for capturing action shots, and it's very durable. I've taken it hiking, biking, and even skiing, and it's held up well. However, there are a few things I don't like about the Action Cam. First, the battery life is not great. I can only get about an hour of recording time on a single charge. Second, the image quality is not as good as I was hoping for. The videos are a bit grainy, especially in low-light conditions.Overall, I would recommend the Action Cam to anyone who is looking for a durable and affordable action camera. However, if you are looking for the best image quality, you may want to consider a different camera.Pros:* Durable* Affordable* Good video stabilization* Easy to useCons:* Short battery life* Not the best image quality* No touchscreenHere are some additional things to keep in mind:* The Action Cam is not waterproof.* The Action Cam does not come with a memory card.* The Action Cam uses a proprietary battery that can be expensive to replace.Overall, I would give the Action Cam a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

Almost as good as a GoPro, at a FRACTION of the price!
We are planning a trip to Costa Rica, and the cheap sports camera I have currently is okay, but I wanted to get something of higher quality for our bodyboarding, snorkeling, and ziplining. My daughter-in-law has the latest GoPro, and its pretty great, but out of my budget. After scrolling here, and watching a TON of YouTube videos, I decided to pick up this Akaso Brave 4, and boy am I glad I did!I was stoked to try it out, of course, but wanted to make sure the battery was fully charged, but HOLD ON A MINUTE! This camera came with TWO batteries, and a charger that charges both at the same time. While I was charging the batteries, I went through the pile of extras that came with it. I can't think of a single situation where I'd need a mount that's not included. And a 64 gig SD card? Way to go, Akaso!I love the picture and video quality! The dual screen makes it easy to get great clips and pics, but also is great in selfie mode, for vlogging our trip. When we get back from our trip, I'll add some pics and video clips, so you can see for yourself how great this bad boy works underwater, with a selfie stick, and on a gimbal.Do yourself a favor, and order this camera before everyone else finds out about it, and the price goes way up.
