Works
It is such a simple idea and really works. I used it to cover a heavily bandaged arm. You just pull it on and the plastic is tight on the skin above. The bandage was completely dry when l removed the plastic sleeve.

Simple but effective product
I recently broke my wrist which is in a half cast and I was advised by the nurse not to get the cast wet, which presents obvious issues for hygiene.I was able to have a bath with my arm hanging out the side but I found I couldn't properly wash the upper part of my arm in a cast, or wash my hair, without the risk of getting the cast wet.A family friend who also happens to have a broken wrist, suggested this product, and I'm finally able to have showers again, which is my default preference when it comes to washing. The product is easy to apply, you just slip your arm through a hole and pull the plastic cover over your cast. There's a tight waterproof seal which gave me confidence that no water would leak inside. I also found the product dries fairly quickly too.I'm only on day two of using this product so I can't comment on its longevity but the benefits I feel from feeling clean and fresh, make it worth every penny.

Useful shower cover
Arrived quickly, pack of two, easy to use and totally effective. Not the strongest, but only needed for 3 weeks and they stood the test of time. No leakage, so will save in case I need them again. Would happily recommend these.

Water proof
I took one look ar this i thought no way is this going round cast on my arm. The hole looks small but it is very flexible material .went over my cast no problem .then pulll back as to take it off. Seals like magic . Steams up a bit keeps cast dry perfectly. After operation I have bandages. Goes over easier and keeps bandages dry . Easy to use and keeps arm dry. For what it cost. Worth every penny

Truly Scandalous Misrepresentation
This is a review of the 'Mighty-X 100% waterproof arm cast cover'.I bought this cover having broken my right arm & elbow so I could shower, obviously. This seemed to fiut my needs according to their sales spiel. How wrong I was.The only thing that is correct is that it is waterproof. So, in no particular order...."opening is made from highly elastic material and will easily stretch over the cast"....No it is not.....There is a world of difference between 'Elastic' and 'Slightly stretchy plastic'. The clue is in the name 'elastic'.I had wondered about this prior to purchase as I couldn't see anything resembling Elastic on the sales images. There is 'NO' elastic at all, the plastic is just slightly stretchy. As a lot of thin plastics can be."Elastic seal doesn't cut off circulation"....Yes it effin does....Check the pictures I took after I'd used it of how tight it was around my bicep, and see from the Purple line on my arm where it had been digging into me...causing Pain & cutting the blood supply.I'm in my 60's so my Biceps are nowhere near the size they used to be, currently they are about 280mm/11" around the muscle so not massive. However this cover was that tight when on that it was no surprise that the water could not get past it...And it 'DID' cut circulation to my arm.Definately not something you want when they've just done a 6 hour operation on it.It was also hurting during the shower it was that tight. As for being "very easy to use even with the non-dominant hand"....and..."slips easily over injured area"...More rubbish, as you can probably tell from my description of how tight it was on my Bicep. It was 'Extremely tight' when I was trying to get it over my cast. It's my right arm that I broke so I was indeed using my 'non-dominant' arm. It's a few weeks back now but if I recall it took me about 20mins faffing about to get it on so I could shower, hurting my arm a couple of times during the process as I'd had a plate, some screws and a new stainless steel ball joint fitted in my elbow socket. If I hadn't been desperate for the shower I'd have waited another couple of days till the replacement I ordered turned up.How did I get on ???I started the return on this item as soon as I had dried off from the shower.I then chose one of those with a circular ring of plastic that has a neoprene hole in the centre. Those type 'are' easy to get over the cast & put on, and yes, they are waterproof too.If you want to know what they look like check the pictures listed for this item.....they are the ones this firm say are no good as theirs is much better..... which is pure liesI've not named a particular brand of that type as they will all be to a similar level of performance & constucted inn a similar way.It really annoys me that some companies produce rubbish like this then wrap it up in sales speak to flog it to unwitting customers, especially as there are consequences from it's bad design.I cannot understand some of the other reviews unless they are of a different product & Amazons algorithm has just used them as it's a similar product. One thing that would help us all is that Amazon should make it a pre-requisite that you have to include the exact name of the product you are reviewing so that there is no mix up & folk then know the review is the for the item they are viewing.I hope this review means I have saved some of you from wasting your time & money and that you end up with a suitable product so that you can have the shower you want without ruining the cast.

Difficult to get on and too tight for big casts or badly swollen arms
I bought this to try to shower after a radial head replacement (elbow surgery) but unfortunately it was extremely hard to get on over a very large surgical cast and my badly swollen arm. When I got it on with a LOT of help and after putting my arm in painful positions it pinched so much it really hurt so we had to cut the top quickly and tape it up so I could shower. This product is probably fine if you don't have a very big surgical cast or very big/swollen arms though!
