Bought one of these for my son at Chriostmas 2020 as he does lots of warhammer figures. Recently finding it difficult to keep my watch makers loupe in so decided to get one myself. Just before it arrived, found my reading glasses had lost a screw, the left eye glass fell out. Checked with the opticiian, £20 for a clean and fix etc. 10 minutes work getting used to the new device and choosing the correct magnification, fixed for free using some screws from an old broken pair from my wife. Letting my son know, he immediately requested my help fixing his pc. He had replaced a defective motherboard and it would not work. Dismantling it we found a bent pin as in the pictures. Using this Vision Aid device, mine not his, we soon sorted that out and he is now a bit happier. Unfortunately he later realised he could have used the duff pc as an excuse to get a new one, much faster and more economical, quieter etc. His wife was happy it was fixed but now has to hear him moan etc. To make this worse for me, now he has told all the relatives that I can fix glasses/spectacles and I'm now going to have to fix loads. One day later and I've already had 5 pairs dropped off on me. Would have attached a picture of the 5 on my desk but hey they are only glasses. To cap it all, apparently I'm now the one to go to to get watch batteries replaced as my wife had a couple of watches that needed new batteries/leather straps that she normally takes to a jeweller. So if you do the same or similar things as me, consider buying one. Its comfortable to wear, has more magnification than I need, the light is great and focuses on the object you are fixing. It doesn't move or drop out like my jewellers loupe. You can change the magnification to suit and the lamp has adjustable brightness. My loupe is a fixed 5 times which sometimes is not enough. And you get a carry case to keep it all together. Great addition to my fix-it kit. Recommended purchase.

I bought these as a Christmas present for my partner for painting his Warhammer models, but unfortunately when he first tried to use them we realised they were faulty as the light on them didn't work and they wouldn't charge properly. I came back to Amazon to see what could be done about it and clicked on the 'get product support' button which took me through to the vision aid website where i could email them directly. I believe their email address is also listed in the user manual. Within minutes of sending them a message I had a response from John in their customer care team, who was kind and courteous and within a few days had a replacement sent out to me free of charge. The replacement arrived swiftly and is in perfect working order, has many different choices of magnification and good lighting. Now my partner can get on with the detail work on his models that he's been impatiently waiting to do since before Christmas!

Easy to use and ideal for close work drawing and painting fine detail, adjustable selection of lenses and comfortable head set, great product.

These have totally changed my model painting...I can now see what I was missing.... Was out of stock when I needed them, so glad I waited..very well made... comfortable to wear for long periods. I haven't had to use the LED light...but nice to have there. Would recommend these...great stuff

Bought these so I could paint miniatures with my son, because some are rather miniscule and it bothers me, not being able to see where I need to paint- especially the dot on the eyes, which results more in a "Oh well, nobody is going to look thaaaat close" thought and I need up just guessing. So, I had high hopes for these to alleviate some of the struggles of getting older. I can wear the vision aid glasses on top / infront of my personal ones, which is great. While they make you look like a character in StarWars (Maz Kanata) band come with an adjustable LED light, I found that they are too heavy and tend to tilt to the front, and the light is not as bright as I would have liked. That being said, I will continue to use them, but further improvements on the magnifying glasses are needed, like thinning of the lenses, make them lighter, make the temple tip more seamless (for those with longer hair), more comfortable to wear for a longer period if time, and allow for the bridge of the nose to be adjusted (up, down, front, back).

This is brilliant, a must if u do crafts or reading, fits round your head perfect, does not slip. As u can change the lenses and there are 2 setting for the light. I use them all the time when I do my diamond painting and my other crafts. Comes in a case so u can keep everything together. Great value for money.

Bought this for my cross stitching on 32 count linen. Love at first use!! I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this. Can use this for hours without issues. Clear lenses and the light has two options that is bright enough for what I need it for.

Gerade bei kleinen Details wie Augen, Hautstrukturen oder Schmuckelementen hilft die zusätzliche Vergrößerung enorm. Vergrößerung Das Set enthält mehrere Linsen mit unterschiedlichen Vergrößerungen. Gerade wenn man abends arbeitet oder Schatten auf der Figur entstehen, sieht man Details deutlich besser. Tragekomfort Die Lupenbrille sitzt angenehm leicht auf dem Kopf und lässt sich gut einstellen. Auch längere Sessions beim Bemalen sind damit problemlos möglich. Einsatzbereiche Ich nutze sie regelmäßig für: Bemalen von 3D-Druck Figuren und Büsten Modellbau kleine Bastelarbeiten Detailarbeiten mit dem Pinsel Fazit Wer Miniaturen, Figuren oder Modellbau bemalt, bekommt hier ein sehr praktisches Werkzeug, um feine Details deutlich besser zu erkennen. Je cherchais des lunettes permettant des grossissements différents pour le bricolage et le modélisme . Parmi le grand choix proposé par Amazon , ces lunettes de VisionAidMagnifier m'ont paru répondre à mmes souhaits en terme d'efficacité et de légèreté, tout en permettant de garder ses propres lunettes de vue souhait . Plusieurs éléments entraient en compte pour ce choix , ceux décrit ci dessus mais également le fait que les verres soient de vrais verres comme nos lunettes . La plupart des objets proposés , sont certes moins chers , mais de moindre qualité . De plus le fait qu'une pochette de transport et une boîte de rangement des 5 différents verres soient fournis étaient un plus . Et , cerise sur le gâteau, origine USA, ! Ce qui m'a aussi décidé , c'est la vidéo accompagnant le descriptif de l'article, qui donnait des infos utiles pour son utilisation. A réception du produit, aucune déception , le produit est parfaitement celui décrit .... Tous les éléments ont bien là . A l'usage , ces lunettes sont suffisamment légères pour ne pas subir de fatigue , m^me pendant un long temps d'utilisation. Les verres avec des grossissements de X1 à X3.5 offrent une étendue suffisante pour la plupart de l'utilisation. Le système de fixation par le bandeau est préférable , si on a des lunettes Le système réglable d'éclairage est parfait Et surtout le système de fixation des verres est simple et efficace , ainsi que le réglage qui permet de lever les verres sans enlever l'ensemble . Petite info, j'ai enlevé le "pince-nez" qui est désagréable et totalement inutile quand on utilise le bandeau ! Pour moi, c'est ce que je recherchais depuis longtemps et là je ne suis pas déçu ! L'ensemble justifie son prix et je recommande ce produit
