Barely 3 stars....
The case itself is pretty nice. The fabric is thick and sturdy. However, I bought extra pockets but the case won't close with them. How many knitters only have 8 sizes of needle? The whole thing needs to be a little bigger overall to hold more pockets. I'm using it at the moment, but I'm on the lookout for something better. Wouldn't buy it again.

We all like nice things to store our tools in
My wife does all the knitting and she wanted this and I ordered it- so she wrote the following:We all like nice things to store our tools in and this case certainly fits that description . It is very attractive and well constructed ,with linen like cloth on the outside, cloth binding around the edges (not plastic!) and silk like material as the lining. The eight, plastic, zippered pouches are large enough that you don't have to have your needle loops coiled too tightly, and the binder clasp construction makes it easy to add more pouches. (I've already ordered an extra set.) Each side has a large back slot big enough to hold a folded pattern or a small notebook. There are also four more full sized slots big enough to hold more circular needles or possibly some DPN's and a clear zippered pouch for small notions on each side. The whole case zips closed for security and there is a handle on the top for easy carrying. This is exactly the kind of case that I've been hoping to find.6.5 x 10.8 x 1.4 inches

sturdy and attractive
I would have given it 5 stars but it would not hold 15 sets of needles as shown in the picture and zip closed. I only had room for sizes 6-9 so the needles sizes were not all that big. (I have several of the same size needles but different cord lengths.) I removed all but one set from the front and back pockets and then it worked (only room for sizes 7-9). I did like it well enough to order a second case for the remaining sets sizes 0-6. (I already had a case for the sizes 10-19.) I did not put anything in the zip pockets. FYI, I prefer knitting on circular needles and like to have several WIPs at one time and yes, I also have an interchangeable set of circulars.

A great case for small circular needles.
I use this case for all my very small 8-9 inch circular needles and my fixed circular needles. The binder pages open and shut easily. I ordered an extra set of the Knitter's Pride Empty Pockets because I have one or two sets of needles from 000 up to 3.75 mm. I put clear tape on each pocket and used permanent marker on the tape to label each size. Works great! Now I can tell at a glance what size and how many of that size are available to be used. Since I often have two sets of socks and/or mittens on my needles at once, it's great to have all available needles organized so well.

Glad I found this!
For my knitting, I primarily use 8” and 12” circular needles and 5” double pointed needles. I love that it is only 8 1/2” tall so it fits all my knitting tote bags. I love that it has the 3 ring zippered pouches so they hold both the circular needle and the size identification card. I put one needle front/one needle back. I will eventually purchase another for my 16” and 24” needles. Two small zippered pockets for notions and sturdy outside zipper keep it all contained. Filled, my case is 1 1/2” wide. If this were my case to design I would make it 2” wide and have a label system for the side slotted pockets. Still, because of the 3ring binder aspect this case gets a 5 Star from me!

Great pouches but a bit more quality assurance would help
I purchased 3 of these as a means to improve organization of my circular and shorter double point needles. The workmanship and sewing is nicely done. Zippers work well. They are sized as described and I can store my 7 1/2 inch double points on the inside covers front and back. I also ordered a few extra plastic zip closure pouches.I am not sure how to jerry-rig the third one as the bottom ring closure misses closure by 4 mm. Quality assurance was lacking when this one went out, making this extremely unscientific survey showing 33% failure rate.

Very useful organizer
I think it's great. It doesn't hold ALL my needles, so I use my old one for the largest sizes that I use less often. The clear zipper pockets are great for stitch holders, gauges, yarn needles, etc. that are so easily lost otherwise. It also can hold my sock needles which many needle holders don't allow for combined with circulars.

Is it possible to have too many needles?
I thought that this would solve my problem with keeping all of my cable needles in a gallon ziploc bag. I found that this did not contain my larger needles (US11+) without kinking the ends of my cables. I have multiple 17's and wanted to group by size. Only one pair will fit in a bag.I really like the concept of this product. If you knit with smaller cables this would be great along with accessories. I liked the pattern of the product and that the size fits neatly into my knitting basket.MEN
