Good idea, but it doesn't seal. I tried standing on it to close it and I still couldn't get it shut all the way. I ended up adding rubber bands, but it still had a bit of leakage. Honestly you don't need this. Just get a small container from dollar tree to shake your bearings in.

Instructions say to wash your bearings up to seven times until the liquid runs clear well it only made it four times before this gasket started so weird stuff. It was leaky out of the packaging like I literally had to squeeze it to death in order not to get a single bit come out and it would still come out. So messy. There is still gunk between the ball bearings and the racers even though the liquid looked mostly clear. I think the main reason why it doesn't work that well is because there's too much liquid in the vessel but I can't go back and test that theory because this gasket doesn't fit anymore. Also the vessel might be too small to be able to really get enough movement. I watched the Bones cleaner video and that's a large vessel with only 25% cleaning solution. A couple of these bearings feel gunkier than when I began and I really wanted to skate tomorrow with some fresh bearings.

Our daughter skates regularly both competitively and recreationally. She has several sets of bearings, both steel and ceramic, so I thought to pick this up for out of town tournaments in case she forgot to clean her bearings on her equipment upkeep days. The lid is faulty and won’t snap close, so it’s basically nonfunctional. If the lid would fit, I would probably still give it a low score. When you manually clean your bearings you don’t need a ton of alcohol, but you do need to be able to shake the bottle. No lid, no shakey. Also, the small container doesn’t seem super effective at creating the necessary “turbulence” needed to clear debris from high priced bearings. I would probably lean more towards the water bottle sized manual bearing cleaning set. Plus, it has a wing nut that secures them, this does not. Also, the lid….. Not worth the money, not the smoothest method to clean your parts. And for the cost and annnoying amount of time it takes to place them on the post, in the tiny container, you could use a ziplock bag with air in it, IMO. Old school style. IYKYK This is a miss.

The cap doesn't close in place. I shook the container with the bearings inside, and the cap leaks and does not close tightly. I think this wasn't worth the money and I already put cleaning chemicals inside and can't return it. So not a good buy to clean my Bones Swiss Ceramic Bearings..
