These canisters are smaller than I was anticipating but work as well as the larger canisters. Just not sure how long they will last.

I honestly purchased these because I have an reactive dog and a large yard. This definitely is loud enough to break the reactiveness in my dog and recalls her back.

I bought the Air Horn to carry with me on walks and hikes with my dog. He is a small dog and doesn't like strange dogs approaching him. Unfortunately, people don't always control their dogs and I find it easier to be prepared to be the one to control the situation. Most of the time, dogs are friendly and I can simply pick up my dog and send them away. However, I have had my share of dogs charging at us. It stops them in their tracks and they retreat immediately. 100% of the time. No harm done. I live in bear and coyote country and it should work well to keep them from getting too close. Haven't run into any as of yet.

I like the loudness, we use it or coyotes that stalk the house right next to the fence (which they can easily get over) & killed one of the beautiful cats. It is too small & I worried about something happening to the 1 nozzle so maybe more nozzle's would be good. It is a useful kit, the sound did travel well. We use a large whistle and this horn to scare coyotes that are in large packs here...
