This is a good stylus. It's very well-built and the replaceable tips are awesome. It works beautifully and the tips last a long time. It comes nicely packaged with everything you need and more. There's even a loop on the butt of the stylus and an elastic cord that plugs into a headphone jack if you want to tether your stylus to a device (assuming you still have an audio jack, since they seem to be fading into obscurity these days). I found it more of a nuisance, but that's personal preference. However, it is a little uncomfortable to hold - the metal clip digs into my hand. It's a minor but annoying issue. If you hold your stylus right at the tip and have small hands, it probably won't bother you. If you hold it back a bit like me, the clip is in the way. I don't think you can disassemble the stylus to remove the clip. I suppose you could break/cut the clip off and grind it smooth, but it's not bad enough to make me take the trouble. I've also found that over several hours of use the replaceable tip untightens ever so slightly. It stays secure, but it starts to make a tiny rattle when contacting the screen. It's not a problem to me - when I hear it, I give the tip a little twist to snug it up again, and it's good for a few days. It has never come anywhere near falling out. It just needs a periodic re-torque. The next time I buy a stylus, probably in 10 years or so because this one will last forever, I'll definitely buy from The Friendly Swede. I'm very impressed with their product. However, I'll either get a longer stylus with more room to hold it, or maybe one without a clip.

The stylus length & diameter are perfect. The tip material is excellent, moves smoothly across the screen. It clue nicely into your shirt pocket. Since it’s made out of aluminum it is very light but if you’re using it on a n iPad it will not be magnetically held in place likes an Apple Pencil.

My new iPad tablet protector has a spot to keep your pen when not in use. It is bigger in diameter than the one I had for my smaller iPad that I replaced with a bigger one. The thickness/diameter of these pens are the exact same as my previous pens. In fact, almost every pen on Amazon appear exactly the same. I am sure they are made at the same factory or else they are made exactly the same. The pens are too skinny for my tablet case so I wanted a thicker pen. I went through the descriptions of every pen and these had a diameter much thicker than the others so I ordered them. They are very good pens. The ends work very well for general use, i.e. just touching and grabbing not drawing. But I returned them because I already had several left from my last order and they never break and I am good about not losing them (using the pen slot holders on my smaller iPad). The new soft case's (which I like very much) pen storage slot is bigger than the previous one. I don't need the Apple electronic pen which may have a bigger diameter. These "new" pens will not stay (at all) in this larger slot. I sent them back. Now I put medical cloth tape to increase the pen diameters and I just received some heat shrink tubing that may work better. If they fixed the dimension descriptions I would not be unhappy. The pens work very well. I have yet to need to replace the soft metal mesh tips. I do use the alcohol screen cleaner I use on my tablet screen, on the optical class wipe, to run across the mesh. I don't know if that helps but I have been using the same pen and tip for over a year now.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had previously used a Friendly Swede stylus pen. Used it for many years, just replacing the tip occasionally. Alas, it got to the point that it needed to be replaced. These stylus pens are well worth the money! Environmentally smart, as you are only replacing the tiny little tip and not the entire stylus.
