So far so brilliant! Plus year later update! Two years later not so great!
Dec 2025 The Dreame is over, in fact it’s a nightmare. The Hoover has conked out two weeks before Christmas strangely after an update. This happened roughly the same sort of time period for the Evac one that Iin fact it’s a nightmare. The Hoover has conked out two weeks before Christmas strangely after a update. This happened roughly the same sort of time period for the ecovac one that I had previously also after it had an update. This just keeps saying that I need to clean the cliff sensor. I have cleaned it and cleaned it and cleaned it with the Coll board very gently I haven’t forced anything I managed to reset it. it keeps saying that it’s 3/4 charge it isn’t it hasn’t charged up anymore in the past two weeks. It’s saying it’s still the same amount of charge. I managed to get it going after resetting it. I’m deleting it from the app. It went for about two minutes and then it just stopped because I didn’t have any battery I put it back on kept saying oh the filter is wet. The filter wasn’t wet. It was a brand-new filter in fact Bang it was hardly any dust in it but anyway checked it all cleared out that message on the app just rubbish really frustrated annoyed because that means now I have to go round and Hoover. Also, the mopping thing stopped working as well, basically you’ll get maybe a year or two. of it being okay and then it will conk out. Also, we just have hard floors that it’s on with one small rug by the door and that’s it so it doesn’t have to deal with carpets. Very very disappointing. Won’t be buying again. I got it on a bargain for I think 189 which really is quite a lot of money for two years of hoovering. I think I’m going to look at shark because at least if that goes wrong I’ll be able to take it back, no problem be warned. Aug 2023 So far it’s been fantastic. The set up was really easy. You just have to be patient and follow the instructions for example bring your phone close to product to connect. Then bring product closer to the router so that can connect and that was all really straightforward. the mapping takes a while and I wish I’d fully charged the unit before I’d set it off because it only had half a battery and we have quite a large floor. Space so it will be interesting to see what it does in the morning as it is not mapped some of the area and if it will go back and remap the whole thing I will follow up with that. It’s only bumped into the fridge once, and that was when it very first started , it was very thorough and its mapping so we’ll see how it goes. I will give further feedback in a few weeks. Hopefully they won’t give it an update where it stops working, which is what happened with my Ecovacs Deebot n79s! So I’ve just come to write an update and discovered I didn’t submit!! So this is December 2024 The dreame D9 Max is great. I love it. In fact it’s a dream…. See what I did?? It’s had updates and it hasn’t malfunctioned like the Ecovac! And it’s over a year old and hasn’t malfunctioned finger crossed.it does go through the main brushes quite quickly and if you buy them from dream they are nearly £50. But you can get alternatives with all the extra brushes and filters for about 18 and they seem fine. People have complained that it has stopped and then they moved it and then this has gotten lost. The reason that it has gotten lost is because you’ve moved it from where it was so if it gets tangled up or anything like that, you need to try and put it back in exactly the same place otherwise it will start the whole clean again. I don’t think that is a massive negative. It’s just more common sense and a learning process for us humans to realise that this robot is mapping out in a few move it out of its mapped area it will get confused. The only negative thing that I would say and even they’re not really negative, is the side brush really it could do with one on both sides. It’s only on one side that’s it. There’s only one thing I have to say that is maybe a realistic view. Don’t expect it to mop your floors sparkling clean. If you are going to use it you need to start with a relatively clean mopped floor and then go from there however you have to clean the pad after about half an hour so it’s great if you have a small room but if you have a big room, I don’t know how much use that is and you’re probably better off with the more expensive model where it goes and refills and empties, et cetera. I’ve just looked the same model as mine but the GE2 and it has 6000 sucky upness, is for sale at £159 so that’s £10 less than I paid for mine with 2000 more sucky upnesses! Hope this is of help. I’m really impressed with it. It’s been brilliant! If dreame would like me to review one of their more expensive models, I am absolutely here for it. Please send me one for free.

Does the job
Good one, I previously owned Dreame F9 and was ok with that but had to return that due to battery issues so purchased this one from the same company. It is quicker to clean the entire flat and does a pretty good job at picking up dust due to it's large suction power. It runs for 50 min to complete the entire flat in Turbo mode and the mopping is good too.

Great suction and design, but not very "clever". Very basic Alexa / Google Home integration
I have spent a good couple of hours trying to troubleshoot this robot as per the faq and instructions. I think I have received a faulty unit, but I do not want to try another one so I am going to purchase a different model. If you have a multiple-floor house and want to save maps, this lets you save x3. It can't, however, detect which floor it is on, you need to manually select this in the very slow app, and load each map.. When you set it to start cleaning, it undocks, and then charges at full speed in a random direction, and then stops to "self-position". I now have marks on the wall and had to be wary of turning it on near the stairs, it is not very clever. Sometimes the bumper has become stuck, and the app tells me to check. The Google Home and Alexa integration is awful. I want to tell it to clean the kitchen, or lounge, or one of the bedrooms. What is the point of labelling them in the app, if you can't direct it to one particular room without opening the painfully slow app? This Xiomi Mi Home app is also not suitable for tablets, the map is even smaller, it does not size up to fit the screen. It also randomly resets my saved maps and adds another mysterious room to my saved map, when there is nothing on the other side of the wall... I have tried deleting all maps and starting again after resetting the robot, but it still does this. The sensors are not the best for guidance, for example, it will not easily just navigate in a straight line near a wall, and it seems to sometimes not go right up to the edge. The performance is great, as a vacuum. It has probably the highest suction of any robot vacuum. The battery life is great too. If it had better sensors, and actual google home / Alexa integration (instead of just "okay google start cleaning, okay google charge deebot") it could be the best robot vac out there. Thankfully it is easy to return to Amazon.

Water tank and mopping floor, not the best
I can definitely recommend it for vacuum your house, including carpet . Floor recognition , suction power very good and easy to use from app , however it’s not the best for mopping

Intelligent but not very capable
This is very good vacuum robot and is reflected in its price. It can draw maps during first time, ability to select zone, rooms to clean but it does not pick dust very first time as it is not hit and miss with single side sweeper brush. Also all of sudden sometimes in times of most need it forgets map and starts all over again

Not worth it.
The robot is quite disappointing. The suction power is not amazing but I guess for a robot is actually good enough. The mop is useless, even in the highest setting it does not wet the floor enough to clean it, the floor doesn’t even get a little wet. So absolutely rubbish. The navigation is also super disappointing, it’s need to constantly reposition to get back to the dock and by doing it, it does not care about the furniture or wtv is in the front, it just go straight with too much speed and hit everything in between really hard. To a point of the robot front get various scratches and visible scuffs. Also it does behave nicely with thicker carpets like at all, came to a point where it deleted the house map because it was getting stuck on the carpet which made it impossible to put a no go zone. The lidar is just too slow, I guess, and unreliable, it detects parts of the house that does not exist also allows the robot to hit obstacles. I was expecting a lot more from a sub brand of Xiaomi. It’s clearly too cheap which is noticeable and makes it not worth the money.

Robot vacuum cleaner
I’ve been using it for nearly three years, at least twice a day. I’m planning to buy the newer models as well. Highly recommended. 👍

Promising Start Undone by Poor Reliability and Support
The product worked well at first, but quickly revealed its limitations. Each use demands extensive preparation and post-use maintenance, and it frequently gets stuck, requiring manual intervention. Most disappointing was the mop function, which stopped working entirely after just a few months. To make matters worse, there was no warranty coverage or customer service available to help resolve the issue. Overall, the experience was frustrating and fell short of expectations.
