Excellent for long distance leveling and height measuring
I needed a long distance level to figure out how to route some drainage pipes, and to determine how deep I'd dug a trench. I had previously tried yellow-string-and-level and tube-o-water. Both suck. This thing is perfect.My biggest question coming into this was: how do you level it? I've attached some pictures. There's a high-accuracy bubble level mounted atop the telescope. You get the tripod more or less level by moving the legs in and out, then there are three leveling knobs that let you get the bubble level happy. Leveling takes about 3 minutes each setup.The level is high quality with good optics and a clear reticle.The tripod is quite nice with a leg strap and a carrying strap.The ruler is very good with solid extension snaps.Overall a solid tool investment.

So worth the price!!
I had to layout 12 pig pins over 2 acres! This saves so much time plotting of the space and staying straight! This isn’t junk equipment, the glass is very clear and sturdy! Definitely a better bang for the buck!
